    Im part of the crowd that thinks sexy baskets and plate stamps are just a way to raise the price. Give me performance over cosmetics that will never be seen in 98% of system designs, i.e., how many people actually mount inverted.

    I agree, some serve a purpose though. TI baskets have bigger spider landings and shit like that

    I believe they will have 10" spiders, don't hold me to it though. This is all just "hear say"...

    i'm all for those new baskets, but for those that can't afford the custom tooled baskets like the original lvl 6's, i'd love to see some TI baskets or TI replicas at least.

    But I like em too! They are light and strong and sexy 4 sure!

    I doubt you'd see replicas. Tc sounds holds the patent on them.

    Yes they have the patent, but after so log aren't others allowed to make a re-make, or an "aftermarket" version, sorta like with car parts?

    I man be wrong, it just seems like it would be the same for everything.

    His are all a couple years old, Yours was the last new one on the shelf

    Oh okay cool, I just really wish I would have known that, so I could have just waited and saved money. I would have ordered the 4 XL 15's now instead. I don't have big funds like you guys, it takes me months to save up to make these purchases. Oh well guess that's just how it is.

    Did you buy a 5k that was in stock?

    Yeah I had no idea a pre-sale w/be shortly coming... And that was on the 15th. So nine days ago.

    U should look at my build when u get a chance, I always appreciate your advice, and keen eye!

    If you got something that was in stock, we can't discount those.

    Right, I totally understand.

    What I was saying was, that I would have definitely waited had I known, and got the discount. I won't be using mine for a while still.. Oh well guess that's just how it is.

    My vote is for 6 level 5 15s flat wall and add 2 more 5ks.

    Were all out of 5.0s right now, I want to have this together for Jim Jeans show so it will just have the 4 5.0s for now BUT theres something in the works for power coming up, But It will be after the show. Should have it 100% by Finals

    Hmmm, how then did I get mine? Did more 5.0K's turn up? Just curious. Hope it wasn't one of his... since there are only three in the pic

    It says 16.xx watts, not 16K watts....

    I have a video, and a issue I'm seeing in my build with regards of wire type.

    I've already spoken with TD, and showed him the video, and when I'm further along the build, this will get a very thorough goin through.

    If what is going on that we think is,... You may be surprised about difference in wire type.

    I have also seen some differences, and wouldn't be too surprised.

    But I'm in for seeing the AD-1 test all the different wires.

    I do have a question though. I'm looking for a decent watt range for the box. Its built exactly to skar audio specs expect port made it just a 1.75in longer. I'd really like to see what they can do on proper wattage.

    So was the question "What size amp should I use"?

    If so, the answer is 1K per sub of clean power. At least that is what others have been giving theirs.

    How did that happen?

    A mechanic was working on it, He had disconnected all the positive lines under the hood, All was hooked back up but 1 and it hit the hard line for the brakes, blew a hole through it and it caught on fire, It was a full under hood harness replacement to get it back on the road. A lot of the factory wiring was melted.
