    Lemme ask this, have either of you had a change in sleeping behavior or anything in the past few weeks? New job or anything of that sorts? When I started getting up earlier, I was ALWAYS grouchy as hell, never could get the sleep I need...same thing happened when me & my ex dated...

    no not really, i loose some sleep somtimes because i just like being by myself but thats it....usually when we get in a fight its on her end. i just get the pleasure of dealing with it

    So I've been dating this girl for about two years now and things were going great. however about 2 weeks ago i started noticing that we get into fights all the time...ALL THE TIME!nea.gif nothing too major but just exhausting you know? anyway it makes me not even want a relationship anymore, and i feel depressed all the time, ive even considered going to the Drs. for it. anyway i guess what im asking from you guys is, is there a best way to break up with this girl without having to stop being friends and all that? i know its near an impossible task but i thought id try and find out. any help would be great. sorry for the latenight rant....pardon.gif

    If your not looking to buy a product that someone has for-sale, Do Not Post in that thread, no matter how much you think someone wants to much money or what not.

    if you know they are scamming then that's a different story, otherwise Shut up, I'm tired of seeing peeps trying to tell people what is or isn't a good price on something they DON'T OWN.

    I hate to do this but people aren't understanding common sense.

    1. Do NOT post dump.

    - Post dump is an unnecessary post

    - All items listed for sale must be listed with a asking price for each item

    - If you hate the price don't complain about, its up to the OP(original poster) to set his price, other wise PM him/her

    - If you are not interested in purchasing or are interested but do not have the money to purchase the item at the time you see the thread on that item that is for sale, do NOT post

    - Posts may be deleted without warning

    - Report to mod button is there for the sake of reporting the thread, USE IT

    - Repeat offenders will have a short ban from the forum

    2. Do not question the moderators

    - No need to explain this rule, basically don't argue with them

    3. Pictures with your name and date on a piece of paper shown with every item being listed is a MUST

    - if you have time to post you have time to take pics. if not we aren't interested in your thread here.

    - We have a moderation staff, we don't need 40 members posting that they need pics/150 post minimum or it will be deleted, it just clutters up threads and we have to delete all the random chatter to keep the threads clean.

    well went to court this morning guys and boy was i nervous! anyway went and didnt even have to go in front of a judge, instead it was some guy/police officer who handles stuff like this. he read over the police report and i told him i was never given a citation or for that matter talked to by a police officer and he told me that he thinks i got 10x the punishment of what it would of been and..........DISMISSED THE CHARGERS! im soooo re leaved! thanks for all the help guys!drinks.gif

    ya i know im guilty and im not trying to get around it or anything, ill probably admit to being guilty too. im just trying to see what im facing, you didnt answer my question though haha if i take the community service or whatever would it still go on my record

    To be honest, that is something I can't tell you. Being a municipal court, the judges can pretty much do whatever they want to as they aren't held up to such standards as the judges who are in on murder cases and big drug cases. This is something you will have to be firm on. If the judge fines you, then yes...it will most likely go on your record. If he offers you otherwise, such as community service, then you have to let him know your end of the bargain, which is no criminal record. Tell him if he can't do that for you, then you want to go a different route. No use in doing all that work and it being on your record, if you can get a trial and have a chance of getting a "not guilty" in the end. Also, check with an officer or the judge and see if there is some kind of "catch all" charge. Our city has a "failure to show due care" charge, which works real simple. Someone gets a ticket or a small charge that can't show up on their record, we drop the original charge, and rewrite it for "failure to show due care". For example, a truck driver gets a "disregarding stop sign" ticket while driving his personal car...this could cause him to lose his CDL license, and his job if a charge like that is on his driving record. So, we write the "due care" ticket, and drop the "stop sign" ticket. Its a little higher fine, but the "stop sign" in not on his driving record...win-win situation. A simple possession is normally a $650 fine here...lets say I stop a nursing student and she has a dime bag on her...no biggie, I mean who hasn't smoked. She goes home for the night, and gets a small ticket...but she can be kicked out of nursing school for a charge like that. So, the charge is rewrote for a $200 "due care" and she does some community service to make up the rest...again, a win-win situation. I hope I explained that concept enough for you to understand what I am talking about. I am not very good a painting pictures with words.

    yeah youve done a great deal of help im just a bitch when it comes to judges simply because i hate being there. if he trys to fine me then ill try to speak up haha

    Dude, don't listen to Reallunacy in your position. He is right, and knows what he's talking about, but this isn't that serious yet. People only follow that advice if they are guilty, or are innocent and facing a serious crime. Like I said, you have NOT even been charged with anything yet. But, to be completely honest, you are guilty. Just be nice, and hope the judge is having a good day. There are so many people I see in court every week facing the same or similar situations as you, that compleletly blow things out of proportion. They end up getting 30 days or worse just because they get an attitude and don't seem to see how they are wrong. Like the guy that tells the officer on camera that the dime bag in the center console is his, but when he gets to court wants to get all technical and try to accuse the officer of doing things wrong just to get off the hook. I just wanna walk up to the bench, slap the shit out of the individual, and just tell them to shut the hell up. So instead of getting a $250 fine with 30 days to pay it, they piss the judge off and he slaps the maximum on them which is like $2000 and says if you can't pay this right now, then you are going to jail for 30 days. And of course the individual doesn't pocket that much money, so they get put in the shiny bracelets and taken to jail without so much as a "have a nice day".

    Hey bro, I'm a cop, and I totally agree with TeamHT. Be completely honest, and don't mention a fucking word about the 3rd party buying the pill from the individual you gave it to. Stick with your original story (whether it be true or not) that your friend said he was in pain and you gave it to him, and were caught off guard by the rest of the incident. Most likely, you are required to appear because the judge will look at all the "evidence" and listen to the stories of the people that do show up. Being that it is a school day, your principle will most likely not show up anyways. If the judge feels that there is enough evidence to give you a charge, then he will place the charge on you and give you another court date. At that point is when you should lawyer up. But, from my experience, the judge will overlook the whole situation, or have you agree to some public service or a small fine...which if he does, I strongly recomend you take it. Point is, you did break the law by giving the pills out...if you disagree to take the public service or fine, then the judge will most likely see it as arrogance on cockyness, which will piss him off and wave his decision to place real charges on you...which you could be looking at 30 days or more in lockup and a criminal record for distribution of class 3 narcotics instead of 40 hours of weekend time washing firetrucks. So, in a nutshell, dress nice & look clean, talk with proper grammar, tell the truth, and take any offer the judge gives you with a smile on your face...you did break the law, and you've already admitted to it. Be grateful for whatever he gives you. Hope this was helpful.

    You have a few options, but the two main options I see depend on if you plan to actually fight this with a lawyer or if you have decent speaking skills and want to see if you can get around this yourself. If you go the lawyer route, go in there and when the judge calls you up, just say not guilty and follow their instructions from there. For the other option, this will kind of depend on the judge, some will require a guilty/not guilty plea where as others may let you speak with them. If you have to enter a plea, say not guilty and then speak with the prosecutor handling your case and if the judge has you speak to them then you can explain your case.

    I would open up with an apology for your actions and explain you weren't thinking at the time when your so called friend asked and will never do it again. If the person you are talking to seems bent on doing something to you instead of letting you off, then ask if it would be possible to either go to some sort of remediation, like rehab or a training course, or some community service hours with the possibility of the record being dropped if you don't get into any more trouble.

    Obviously dress nice and be all yes sir/ma'am to them while using proper grammar. Even if they are an ass to you, be nice.

    the problem there is that its kinda late for a lawyer isnt it? i had a buddy who had weed on him at school...not selling or anything but had to go to court and i guess just met with a police officer and might have faced a fine im not sure. im hoping dressing nice and being respectful will get me far all though im not the sharpest when it comes to talking haha

    You're going to court...but what exactly for? You weren't arrested...you're not being charged with anything...what is the purpose of the court appearance?

    Honesty and respect definitely go a long way, but talking can also get you into big trouble. I wouldn't say a word about the friend selling the pill and deny any implication you even know what happened. I would stick with the story your friend was in pain and begged for one pain killer. You didn't think anything of it, and now you are caught unaware.

    And remember, the right to remain silent and plead the 5th is a constitutional right. Use it! Not every cop and state official is out to be your friend.

    haha my point exactly, like i said i just got this random letter in the mail. while saying my friend begged for a painkiller, i feel like it'd be kinda close to lying... but your right im going to try to say as little as possible

    ya i live in sacremento, california so i dont really know i mean they give me a court date for anything just because im still a minor for a couple more months. such as my tint, speeding, etc. i appreciate all the help guys and all i can do i guess is pray for the best. ill let you guys know how it goes, wish me luckdrinks.gif if anyone knows anymore dont be afraid to say anything haha
