  1. Alright, I was just wondering. The price difference between the BL & BTL re-cones is small and I figured if I

blow the BL I could gain a little more performance with the BTL re-cone.

One last thing, will my Fully Loaded BL, handle 2000 clean un-clipped watts? It's in a 2.5cu.ft. box @34HZ.

Of course...FI is good for handling over its rated wattage...just make sure its clean and unclipped or else you are asking for thermal failure.

  2. Okay, so I am about to order a couple of BTL recones, and there are a couple of options that have me stumped. I have the 11.5" saucer magnet on mine, so I'm guessing I select the "new single style" on the magnet type. And I am getting the xmax option also. But the other two drop downs have me confused. The one that says "Basket: yes, no" and the one that says "Send In Sub: yes, no". What do these two options mean? I was thinking that since the basket option adds like $30 on the price, that you are getting the basket that goes on the motor. And I'm assume that the send in sub option means that the recone is already glued in the basket...but if that is so, then how do you mount the basket on the motor w/out damaging the spider. Oh well, IDK. Someone Please Help.

  3. Been a few since I been on here, but i need some advice. Dude is selling 4 brand new HFX12D4's for $125, which is an okay deal. Here is a link to them HFX12D4. Pretty sure I'm gonna snag them up. But anyways, I got an AQ2200 for power, and a wall in progress. Will it be worth the work to put these in the wall, or would it be better off to sell em' and put it towards a couple of serious speakers. My BTL is on its last leg and I'm itchin for some loud bass.

  4. I know here in hey henrco virginia it's not a traffic offense it's a county ordinance and it's a low class misdemeanor if tha car herr it 50ft

County ordinance? Thats unusual. Ussually its city ordinances. But anyways, to the OP...it never hurts to do research yourself. Go to your local city and county police department, and ask for copies of their ordinances. These are laws that are applicable only in that agencies jurisdiction. Read through them and see what it says about loud excessive noise. B/c most of the time, there is actually no "loud music" ordinance...its ussually just a loud/excessive noise ordinance.
