Is the pic with the 12 12's Scotts ride?
It looks like it is seals or is that a 4th order. Any more pictuers?
Yeah that's Scott's Tahoe. Twelve sa-12s off six saz-2500s on 16v.
-
I think it'll sound pretty good. My brother & I are actually about to do a very similar install into a '92 Firebird convertible using a pair of sa-8s off an sax-1200d.

Do you have any of the original sundown shirts in stock Jacob? I would like to order one at this time so I figured I would make sure you had some in stock. I may order one of the white ones later but for now I want the one with the logo and site on the back.
All the original shirts are in stock.

Whats shipping like to Hawaii ??? I picked up My 4500's From Audio Innovations Hilo, Would it be easier to just order through Stacey?
The white amp guts shirts will not have any extra shipping cost to Hawaii.
Is the back of the shirt blank?
Yes it is blank.

Actually (surprise) -- I brought in some 15" re-cone kits already
So I could actually re-build some as 15s now if someone had motors.
You done messed up now. hahaha

New amp guts design. Currently only available in white.

All of Team Nemesis will be there.

You'd do better to just buy a new sa-10".

WOW I'm surprised i haven't seen a ban yet
No need for all that. It's not that serious. lol
I'd rather sub2weeker use this as a learning experience that you can't compare Usaci #s to dB Drag #s, AudioControl #s to Term-Lab #s, or (my favorite) crx #s to quad cab F-350 #s. Not to mention the frequency differences.
-
20 years of experience has taught me that a system just doesnt sound good at 20 hz! sorry... and i drive my van every single day! my vehicle is as practical as they come. it plays music loud and forever and i can burp a test tone and oh yeah.... i can do the 30hz and still be 3.4 dbs higher and while its on music!, and this was 4 months ago before i sealed my wall. im doing 56 at 32hz now. and my box is a foot and a half behind the b- pillers
either way this build with all these 10s is bad ass... i have learned some very nice installation tips for my 8 18s i will be putting in soon. I like the full strips of L-bracketing used.
That pic shows a peak at 35hz, not 30hz, and no doubt that's an outlaw kick panel score and it's still 3db+ LOWER than Hank's 30hz dB Drag legal score which would be about 6db+ lower than his outlaw score. Not sure why you keep insisting on coming in here bragging about your #s and downing Hank's but you're failing pretty hard at it.
-
Lulz at 20+ years experience but doesn't know the difference between 160db outlaw burp scores @ 40+hz and sealed musical scores @ 30hz.
-
im sorry you are all offended! i think this build is epic! i however look at all systems and critique em. if you cant handle critisism you shouldnt post a thread at all! i am by far NO HATER. i wish there were more builds like this. IMO i just thought it should be a lot louder.
The problem is that you want to compare your usaci #s to Hank's dB Drag #s. That's a silly comparison, not even considering the 13-15hz frequency difference.
Only a 156.9 on music? Why so low? I'd expect a lot louder from a setup like that. Iasca Bass Boxing setups like yours are doing 158+ on music with the mic on the windshield.
-
but instead i have to point out that you have 48 10s! and 12 10s would do what this does.
Then by all means make a thread showing us a setup with 12 entry level 10"s that'll do dB Drag LEGAL 150s from 22hz to 58hz and quit acting like a hater dumping on Hank's thread.
-
i built mine for music as well and i do a 158+ sealed on the glass! and i have a wicked wind machine! i mean you tell me if this looks like something thats on a jacked up audiocontrol! i mean after all..... USACI USES THE TERMLAB AS THEIR OFFICIAL METER.
^^^ That vid showing the 166.2 (the score you brag about in your sig) is an AudioControl meter with the gain jacked up. Funny how you leave the details about how you got that score out of your sig. My Explorer does over a 160 on the Audio Control with a street C style setup (2 15"s no-wall off only 3kw all in the cargo area). Bragging about outlaw AC scores will only get you laughed at, especially when you try to use them to compare to legal dB Drag scores. No doubt Hank's truck would be at or very close to a 160 outlaw and he would be doing it 10hz+ lower than you.
-
Sa-15s won't be out til late this year.
-
If it comes down to it there are used ones available for purchase.
-
lol I'm not even gonna put myself through the toture of trying to explain the many reasons it's not. If you don't know then I guess someone else can tell you
Dude's trolling. He's used to metering usaci style on jacked up AudioControls.
-
this is a sick build and a looooooot of time taken. why isnt it in the 60s though?
If he meters it outlaw, like you do, with the mic in the kick and the door open it very well might be.
