Yeah ill try to get some pics or something up showing what I have to work with... I was thinking about just steppiing down and getting the 10s because I've heard both the 10s(older se series) and 12s(new sex series) and they both bang realitively hard and the 12s are being ran off a 2 channel lanzar 2000 watt amp and the two 10s of a hifonics zues(don't know model)...that's why I want to try and get 2 cuz I live how they sound..and both of those where in a sealed box so I could only imagine how they would sound in a ported box

I wanted to get a hifonics hfi1500 and run it at 1000wrms@2ohms. I can't get good dimensions of the space due to how the seat is...I'm pretty much making my dimensions off of a old wedge type box I had back there

Uh well I got the two 12s and a amp quoted for about 540... 320 for the subs and 220 for the amp...don't really want to spend much more then that..since its on my parents dime

Ok so here it is...i want to put 2 re sex 12's behind my back seat in my 03 f350 crew cab..i know i have to move the seat forward and im planning to move it 2 inches up...the box i want to build is gonna be 44.5Wx14Hx8.5D thats the external size and the internal is 43x12.5x7 which leaves me with 1.8cuft after dissplacement..what i want to know is, is this a good idea? do you think it will work? if not what can i do to make it work? and no dont say make a wall or tear out the back seat because my parents wouldnt let me do that, im lucky that they are even letting me do this. im buying all the equipment from here http://www.advancedcarcreations.com/main.htm they are an authorized dealer for what i want thats why im going through them..also if you do have a better idea in subs they have a list of all the dealers they sell and i would like it to be from one of them. so and help or constructive critism would be appreciated!

I know. This might be a weird question but if you had to pick a componet speaker from powerbass which one would you go with? I know its mainly personal preference but I also want outsider knowledge

I'm looking them up right now...also this doesn't go with this topic but if I wanted to run new front speakers in my truck(they're 6x8s) without buying a new amp what kind should I get and would the amp in my pioneer 3100dvd be good enough?

Nope just 1 pb 2xl12 on a kenwood 1000w mono..soon to be 2 pb2xls on a hifonics hfi10001d...so then one run should do just fine for it?

How many runs should I do? And does that mean I have to double up on fuses to? I'm trying to figure out how to make my lights not play along with the bass if you know what I mean...so I want to try the big 3 to see if it will help....and idk how much it comes out too where I live

This is the older powerbass 2xl the one with the pb logo on it with the 9 dots...I want to try and get it new or very close to new. The reason is that I have 1 of them and want to use two of the same year/model.

Im new to car audio. Had a system installed awhile back and it crapped out on me so this time im giving it a try by myself. I dont have all the money in the world to dump into my system and not the best vehicle to build in (2003 ford f250 xlt )I have a powerbass m12 right now and i love it, hits harder then my two previous alpine type s. but i want to know if a powerbass 2xl 124d is worth installing and what i should run it off. My gf bought me the 2xl for xmas (shhh) im not suppose to know..any help on this would be appreciated
