is the sub output turned completely off?
My RCA on my hu read 0 and my sub level is 0 and my subW is on, on my hu and I check it and read 0 from my hu.. It's my hu. I have to check the settings cause that alpine brand new from alpine

Set the DMM to AC Voltage, then check the outputs on your Headunit. If you don't have any voltage on your headunit, that is your problem.
If you have voltage on your headunit, connect the RCA's to your headunit but not your amp. Check AC Voltage on the unconnected end of the RCA's. If you don't have voltage, you have bad RCA's.
If you have voltage on your rca's, connect the RCA'a to your amp and check ac voltage on the outputs of the amp. If you don't have voltage, you have a broke amp.
If you have voltage on your amps outputs, check your speakers.
Hey I put it on ac and check my RCA on my hu and read 0 I put both of them in the hole for the RCA and rub them on the RCA on hu and still 0 so Its the hu. Before I had a Bose hu and got the Loc called the mx-4 for my RCA and it still hook up but no power going to it tho.

did you adjust the gain?
Ya it at 45% up bass boast 0 and phase0 my LPf 25% up, my ? at 30hz I forgot what it's called

I hade my RCA"s on the in put side on my amp and nothing. It's like my cd player not putting on none. My HPF on my cd player was off and it goes to 100..

This amp gonna be battery hungry. Hope not..10xs power batts what I'm running and still don't kno what amps to go but these seem pretty nice tho.I got my subs
-
My bad I was thinking of something..
-
Correct me if I'm wrong. But gain use an oscope if not then a dmm meter. Subsonic according to your box ssf around 28 or so. Lpf around 80hz
no bas boost and phase 0 degrees
LPf 80hz??? Damn son!! Idk saz 2500 must be diff than the 3k cause LPf at 80hz clips the hell out the subs idk maybe it just my DC's.
-
I kno bass boast 0 and LPf 0, and ur gain based on how loud u turn ur volume on hu and I'll go 45% on my gain with bout 30-35 volume I have a 3k sundown amp and think its the sub sonic to 30hz and phase 25% up that how I got my amp set up and it's perfect and if u need more power just turn ur gain up more.. Turn all bass off on HU. When u set the volume don't go over.. 40 volume will be the max to go too if u have a good hu. I have a great one that's y mines go up to 30 volume demoing and when at comp 35 volume cause Thats what it tune to after 35 it start clipping stage..that's me, my box is tune to 32 hz too..

I want to buy a hat. I want the one with the white dc logo and a large fitted. Do I need to call u?
-
Yeah but c'mon guys, he has 2v outs. a line driver wouldn't hurt. Higher line voltage > higher gain.
I bought a line driver for my amp today. It make a big difference. I talk to one of my friends and he very smart and he told me to get one. I figure it would help..
-
You don't need a line driver at all. The dealer just wants you to buy stuff in order to make him $$
Ok thanks

I need a 4V line driver, and I need help buying one. I
heard audio control line driver is good..but I need help what kind to get.. My alpine is 2V and my amp takes 6V(sundown 3k)
if your HU does 2v you dont ad 4v to it if you need 6v out if the line driver is 4v all you will get out is 4v and the voltage is variable the sundown takes 6v MAX the gain can be set to anywhere between something like 0.2v to 6v
So what I need to do? I got a alpine CDA-105 hu and the dealer said get a 4V line driver so the amp will get 6V. What would u do? My amp will see 14-15V daily or buy a 6V line driver and adjust it..
