Nope! About an hour. When I get all done with everything I'll give you a demo.

lbox.... Thank you so much!!! I got it out with that link! So happy right now. Thanks so much!!!!

Thanks for trying Zack. Those are both for the Deville. It has a different dash setup than the Seville. :/
I think I am going to mess with it some more when I'm off of this conference call. If I still can't get it... I am going to just cut it out.

Anyone have experience with this?

The problem I am having is that there isn't an actual ash tray there. It is just the plastic cubby, and the door that covers it. I have tried moving it back and forth, and up and down. It just won't budge.

I am installing my double-din head unit in my 2003 Cadillac Seville and I can't get the ash tray out. I have searched for over an hour so far and haven't come up with anything that helps. The insert just will not come out. The worst part is that I can see the screw behind it that I need to remove to make the install happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ok thanks, I am going to just go ahead with these plans. I am just waiting for it to get a little warmer out here in Michigan and I can start building.

Will this design have issues with the sub on the right unloading further back than on the port wall? Will I see any fault in this design?
-
-
Good to know. I will leave it like that then. I am going to flush mount the subs though.
-
Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. As soon as it gets warmer... I will be building this. I will probably 45 all of the corners though.

My outside dimensions at 38 wide, 15 tall, 18.75 deep.
I would like to tune the box in the low 30Hz range (29-33) but I have no idea how to figure in the port and tune it. I have always built sealed boxes or had someone else design the ported box for me and I built it to spec.
I listen to a lot of Dubstep and Rap/hip-hop. This is my daily driver as well. The subs will be powered by a HiFonics Brutus 2100.1D.
Thanks in advance for helping.

I love Sonic Electronix! Welcome to the party!!!

I just finished ordering a bunch of stuff for my build from Sonic. I can't wait to be able to rep you guys well.
-
I ordered 2 pair of RCAs so I will just run them both back. I figure if I am already running one set... It wouldn't be hard to do 2 at the same time. (That's what she said)

Should I be running 2 runs of RCAs from the HU to the trunk? Or can I use the "Output" of the MB Quart amp and put that on the sub amp?
-
Thank you so much!!! You just saved me a HUGE headache. Karma points all around.

I have ordered a few pieces of my build that I am going to be installing when it gets warmer outside (Michigan weather, no garage)
I have a Pioneer http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_32848_Pioneer-AVH-P2300DVD.html?SearchClickout%5Bquery_id%5D=7067923&SearchClickout%5BIgnore%5D=1
I also bought a http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27474_MB-Quart-ONX4.125.html?SearchClickout%5Bquery_id%5D=7068036&SearchClickout%5BIgnore%5D=1
My question is how do I wire up the amp from the HU? I read that you just run the front and rear RCAs to the amp and the rest is easy. The problem I see is that my HU doesn't have 3 sets; only 2. I have never run a 4CH amp before so I am new to this. I am also running a second amp (class D) on my 2 SA-12s.
I have been searching a little but I figured asking might yield a more specific answer. Thanks.

Corona_Jeff, I had gotten a quote from you a while back. I am ready to buy, I would like to see if the prices changed are still the same. I am interested in two Level 3 12's. Thanks.

One other question... If I were to mount the subs Isobaric in this box, what would the extra space in the chamber do to the tuning?
