About Me
I spend my days as an Inorganic Chemist in a laboratory, and my weekends in the garage. My love for cars began as a young child, but it wasn't until high school that I could act on this obsession.
I purchased my first car, a 2000 Ford Mustang convertible in Electric Green Metallic, and immediately developed "the mod bug." At first it was just changing the appearance, which slowly led to the desire to have a sweet sound setup. This led me to my future husband and partner in crime, Jesse Sprister, who installed my very first audio system.
A few years later and the Mustang long gone, I began morphing my 2004 Dodge Ram "Rumble Bee" into a full-blown modern muscle truck. Jesse and I came up with a scheme that utilized the best of the factory features while adding elements to make it one of a kind. It now boasts a custom paint job, unique body work, performance modifications and, most importantly, an audiophile sound system. Jesse and his business partner, Jay Oliphant, created a competition-worthy soundstage using all CDT Audio and a Kenwood headunit.
Though the Bee may be finished (but is it?), I most certainly am not. My next project is my daily driver--a 2006 Civic SI. This will be my first build in which I am doing the designing, fabricating and installation myself, under the guidance of my fiance (thanks, Jess!).
