im going on 12 inch for now hopefully to add in the future a second sub and mono.

I asked this because i am hearing this for a while so i wanted to know why is that and how u can know what port and box volume to design for each configuration. so if got 1 extra on one side so i put 1 on the box ?

here is new one with extra baffle. what you think ?

If i enter 1 in that box is it to extra 1 baffle for the front where the sub will be installed ? Or if i enter 1 its extra 1 for all ?

Is this better ?

I know there is no level 5 yet but i am tired waiting for any specs and news so i started my way to design the enclosure for it. If the specs wont change much i got one ready here is picture of the box and specs from Torres. I will be glad to hear your opinions about it.

So if i understand what you say we creating back pressure to cancel the over powering ? Is this a correct analogy: If crane can lift 20 pounds (equals to power handling of the sub) and i gave him extra 10 pound ability to his engine(amp) but didn't reinforced the metal or structure (sub motor cone ...) so i need a force (back pressure) to reduce it to 20 pounds so i wont fail.

Ive read some where that if subwoofer with Power Handling of 2000watts and i run it on 3400watt amp its a must to reduce the net volume of the enclosure and the port area. why is that ? how can i know if i over power it and how much volume i need to reduce ? Is there a article about the connection with how many watts and the volume and port area ?

I don't know if the bracing bot to top and back wall to front got any effect maybe if it was placed on the middle of the top wood and back wood

Ive done that now still there is some tiny areas the aren't in the same width the only geometric shape that can do that is a circle so the radius will be the same like i did before. Also Ive added this time bracing for the walls like you suggested.

If i understand your notes on the box here is a picture with the corrections. about the 45 in the port i think the best and accurate thing to do to maintain the same port width is to round both of the corners like i did, i don't know if its practical on real life.

Added second baffle on front and reduced the port length because it add 1 inch to his length so i cut it down by 1 inch so it will be still 30 inch long. Here the pictures with it:

Here are the specs: http://www.dcsoundlab.com/xl.html This is my first box design so if go any thing to say about it i will be glad to hear what you think about it dont mind the funny number its because i designed it on cm and converted it to inch for the program.

If you talking about level 5 m2 please let it be me or one of them carbon pink blue whatever I am on hold with my 3.5K waiting to level 5 to come out so it will be shipped togther BTW i am not from the US.

Cant wait for Level 5 to come out. Hope it will come out before my Country Dealer gets the amps shipped.

I am aware that level 5 m2 can run on much higher amp rates but for now that what I can push with my bugedt

i am gonna go with level 5 m2 12 inch when it come out single one for now and run it on dc 3.5K. In futre i gonna get and run duble level 5 12 inch on 2 3.5K monos.

I wanna run it on DC 3.5K or any onther sugestions for a sub on 3.5K ?

For now I got 120amp stock alternator that came with the car. My car is Seat Ibiza sc 2011 1.6l 105hp. It's the same engine on VW polo 1.6l.

I want to buy level 5 12 inch subwoofer with a 3.5K mono. I heard from my country dealer that there is a new level 5 coming out soon. What are the differences between the old and the new ?

Can I install an optima yellow top under the hood and xs power d5100 at the back of the car ?
