Thanks Guys! there is definately a 156+ in this! that score was with the voltage down in the 11's
new alternator on as soon as the guy can get me in for fitting!

I have my build thread over in the DC section, but as I'm using sundown amps I'll put my latest update here too!
I just got my second SAZ 3500 in! I have 2 level5 18's and the two sundown amps.
Score is with the mic on the headrest with 1 door open @ 33 Hz I think it is
Done a 155.4 at 31Hz, but didn't get a pic.
It's my 1st 155db as well, I'm damn happy with it!

What part of the UK are your from Jason? They have 5.4 cubes each after all displacements.

I wish I had the motor already! I'm just looking at upgrading in the future. And I need to save to be able to pay for the shipping of them to the uk as well if I decide to go for them.

Got my second SAZ 3500 in now, and it gave me this
It also done a 155.4 but no pic if that. I'm having a second alt put on berry soon too, so should gain a bit from that. That burp was in the high 12's low 11's. Definitely a 156+ in there!

Just wondering how long it takes you guys to get your amps repaired over there if they go wrong?

I meant I don't wanna strap them. Personal preference. I don't like the sound of that thing I got, so I'm gunna splice the leads and see what happens. All the phone splitters will do is split the cables, and the guy above has done it. Ima try n I'll let u know!

Why dO you guys use such huge port area? Do you not find your boxes are very peaky? They play loud at the tuning, but drop off either side very quickly. We use about 8 to 10 inches per cube here with good flat results. You guys more than double that!

It's 2 sundown 3500's. Phone cable won't do it, I'm from the uk and it's different. I ordered that autoleads one that adjusts it via the phono leads. Will get it in when I get my other amp back.

went to a show over the weekend and got on a TL, scores are as follows -
Readings taken on passenger headrest with drivers door open
20Hz - 148.8 DB
25HZ - 151.3 DB
33HZ - 151.9 DB
40HZ - 147.9 DB
And im peaking at 30HZ - 152.6 DB
THIS IS WITH 1 SAZ3500 @ 1.4 OHMS SO ABOUT 3K OF POWER!!!!
i should be getting my other one back at the weekend!

What would I need to run 2 sundown saz3500's? Would 2 D3100's be ok? Both in the rear, with 200plus amp alt?

does anyone know the expected power increases going from a 14v to a 16v setup? like a few hundred watts per amp maybe?
