    If anyone here welds. you know vertical welds are a pain in the ass. this is a 1/2 inch vertical lap-joint i did. its not perfect but it looks alright. a few spots on the top edge aren't filled in. I used a weave pattern

    my god, v-welds man.............................. literally the biggest welding bitch out there.......

    yea theyre tough. I think i finally got them tho. at first i was keeping a constant weave, but that makes the middle bulge out. i go across fast, then pause and let the side fill in, so theres no undercut

    Glad this didnt happen to me on the freeway. I got my front end aligned a few months ago and apparently they didnt tighten any of the upper bolts (that were loosened to shim)

    All the shims fell out making the upper a arm rub on the steering arm. So i could barely turn. I got home waited for my dad to get off work, when he did i pulled out of the driveway, and right at the bottom we heard a snap. it was the bolt..

    I'm planning a rebuild to I'm thinking of 2 sd-2 10d4 in 2 seal boxes or 1 sd-2 12d2 or d4 it depends if the 12 can handle 750rms in a ported box the amp is the rf t1000bd

    I'm running 2 SD-2 12's (D4) in a sealed box. I dont know if they need more power or the box is to small..

    Im running them at 4 ohms on a SQ-1200d, so 510w and they sound like my old set up. which was 2 p1s on a sony xplod 1400w amp. it kinda pisses me off that i spent 600 bucks and it sounds like shit. The only positive thing is my lights dont dim now.

    I want to build a new box once it gets warmer. Sealed, but bigger. Or ported. Trucks a single cab so i dont have any room at all.

    I really want to know if i can run them at 1ohm, 1000 watts and be okay. Will it give more bass? or is it just using way more power.?

    i just like to point out why i get a bad rap. Some even say "steve has a "reputation" of being a dick".......when that isn't true. Its not a "reputation" its a few people LIKE THIS GUY who make other people think that. My reputation to people is pretty good usually, unless they do me wrong FIRST. Then its open game. I try my best to ignore a lot of stuff i see though. Whats worse is the guy who see's this little coversation (in the o.p.) and takes THAT guys side. Now he thinks i'm a dick too.

    the internet world can be lucrative but you DO pay the price. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking its all fun and games. LOL

    I dont blame you for talking shit back to them for starting it.. Its just that your channels so big that people make a bigger deal about it.

    I only have 3k subs and i get people talking mad shit, and i talk shit back but i dont see anyone calling me a dick for it. if i had 100k+ subscribers i could see that

    And i get a kick out of reading your come backs to people. there fucking funny! lol
