  1. Didn't come across a mashup topic. If there is one made already, delete this and forward me to it please. Here is something I threw together. Had I had more time to mess with it I would have done something with it. Mashup between 2pac - Letter To My Unborn Child and Yuzo Koshiro (Music Producer for Sega). http://www.mediafire.com/?vf27cv25f5u4hg4
  2. Ok so you mentioned about having a Y splitter in the back of your CD player. Have you swapped that out as well? If all of your auxiliaries have been replaced then it could possibly be the deck. Seeing how you changed every last bit of your hardware except that, I would see if a friend can let you borrow their deck or if you have a separate deck to use and see if the problem still exists. This could be numerous things as mentioned already. It's now time to start narrowing it down. Also, I really wanna see where you have this grounded.
  3. okay! im at work and be getting off at 4 and take my car apart when i get home ill keep u guys updated how my issue gets resolved. thanks I had the similar issue with one of my Audiobahn's. It kept losing a lot of db when I would drive around and hit a bump or if anything would jar it slightly. So I fixed the issue by re-seating the amp and securing it with self tapping screws. I also made sure I had the best ground possible. Pure metal to metal contact. After I had done all of these things I only noticed one thing that could have been the issue and it was my power wire to my amp, it hadn't been pushed in all the way so it was showing some wire slightly and I think when I would drive, it would shake it from within its port, causing it to lose a lot of voltage while I was playing music. So just make sure everything is getting the best possible connection to your amplifier and make sure everything is as secure as it can be. BTW, uploading any and every picture you have questions about to help demonstrate what you're talking about will help us give you a much better solution to your issues if you end up having any after this.
  4. I haven't done much searching for what I'm looking for, but I am curious if anyone knows of program that allows you to see what different colors look like on a vehicle. I am pondering with getting my Tahoe painted so I'd really like to know what my options are before I go through the hassle of asking our local shop to mix a ton of colors together just for me to find one that I like. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but at the same time I want to be able to get a realistic visual of what certain colors and/or mixtures will look like on my vehicle. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this topic also.
  5. The wiring is 4 gauge and it is from Wal Mart, but only because I work there and got it for cheap. @PandorasCustoms: I do plan on getting it sprayed with spray liner. Then have it smoothed out and painted with glossy black to match the subs.
  6. That's a coincidence if you never saw one haha. I've noticed after working on foreign cars that it's much more complicated to hook a system up in them compared to something like my tahoe. Haha. Everything is snap on it seems.
  7. Good deal. I just upgraded my system and I already want more bass hahaha.
  8. It was fluctuating between 14.98 to 15.2 Like quickly? Or what? And was this when you were driving? Or was this reading off a dmm? Yes off the dmm. I was idling at about 14.9 and when I revved it would increase just a tad. Damn that is some nice voltage! Was this reading taken at warm or cold? Well, it's cold as tits outside. But the engine was warm. Not sure if that makes a difference. Haha.
  9. It was fluctuating between 14.98 to 15.2 Like quickly? Or what? And was this when you were driving? Or was this reading off a dmm? Yes off the dmm. I was idling at about 14.9 and when I revved it would increase just a tad.
  10. Ok let me elaborate. There is a red box that has a wire from the battery and a wire from the alternator connects too. I'm assuming from there, it goes to the rest of the vehicle. And no, not a clamp meter. The voltage meter that is on the dash. It reads above 14 amps, I'm just curious if it's normal because I didn't notice it being that high before. So basically, instead of me getting power from the battery directly. I am receiving it from this box. I'm not sure of the correct term for so maybe that's why you're confused. That gauge in the dash is a voltage gauge. Not a amp gauge. If it starts going nuts with different voltage and stuff your alt regulator maybe going bad. Ok, I think it's fine then. It doesn't fluctuate when I'm playing music. Thanks for the info.
