Hey im looking to buy subs . I can ge 2 sa-15's for 580 $ shipped to my door and i can get 1 fi btl 18" for like 520$ shipped to my door . Which should i go for . The fi has more rms wattage and is bigger and the sa-15 would take up more room then the fi and cost more to get and wont have the same amount of rms wattage in the end. Let me know whats ur opinion guys . This would be going in a 97 chev 1500 ext cab and i love my low notes in bass

Those are two links to the design i want i will have the mesurements in next post iwant the two subs in the middle in one chamber ans the two on the angle are gonna be inverted in seperated chamber. The squares in the bottom are the ports . I want them tuneed to 32-33 hz. I will be running 4 alpine type R's at 2400 rms . This will be in a 97 gmc 1500 pickup ext cab. I will be removing the rear seats and putting this in . The mesurements are 18" wide X 60" in lengh X 30-32" in height as in the highest part of the box . The two round oval at the top are for 6x9 speakers too, those will have to be in seperate chambers too and these inverted chambers will need the be atleast 2 cu.ft on each side and the two normal ones in the middle has to be at least 4 cu. ft . And that dosent matter if theres more either just a minimal mesurement of the cu.ft i need . Thanks if u guys need to know anything else let me know i know its gonna be alot of work but hopefully some one can make it happend. Thanks for the help:)

buy a ground isolator rca loop. it goes in line with your rca and it grounds it off to the chassis to get clean signal . its called an RCA ground isolator.

i just looked up the maxxsonis mx-3 it makes cleaner sound going to the sub amp providing higher voltage RCA's = higher output at least but no clipping.

hey guys i was reading some forums and saw some one said that BASS BOOST NOB is bad and adds hard clipping. ive also heard that if i wanted more juice to get a boost noob modual that goes inline with the rca's between the deck and the sub amp . well what are those called? bass enhancements? if anyone can name me a few good brand that makes then would be awsome. i heard maxxsonics makes one? help me find this soo called bass enhancement. thanks SMD Members.

bought 1 roll of 50 FT sq of B-quiet ultimate. its not an ashfalt based product so should be good.! hope 50 sq feet is enough for my trunk since i wanna get cleaner, louder bass.
