[quick dc lvl4 question]

i just got a pair of lvl4 12 d1 hooked on a 2600watt amp and was wanting to make my own custom ported box for these.

my question is with my dimensions (WxHxD) 30x13x25in outside dim. using 0.75in thickness, what size port and how many should i use to tune to 34hz using aero ports?

i believe the box will be 4.46cubic ft. b4 sub and port displacement.

thanks for your time and great work on the DC product i love these subs so far and will love them more after this box. lol

or

(my max. dimensions) 6.685cubic feet box with port inside the box

OP: what's the purpose of that crossbar type thing in the hatch?

its a sway bar to prevent body roll

(keep the body from swaying during drifting)

we just took my friend lizzie's 240 to a usac show did a 143.1 db at 59hz lol they sure do like to peek high i can post some pics of her enclosure if you would like.....and nice tail lights

im wanting to do a ported box and have it tuned low to get the 240sx flexing but do not want to do a wall.

i want to be able to remove the box when needed.

and to keep the sway bars (X-bars) installed.

i was thinking if the port needs to be long i can have to port go in between the bar and the trunk floor.

my back seats will be removed and have my batterys and amps there.

so the spare battery casing in the back will be moved.

and the spare tire compartment, would that just be better to make a false floor and not even try to use that space?
