i just got a pair of lvl4 12 d1 hooked on a 2600watt amp and was wanting to make my own custom ported box for these. my question is with my dimensions (WxHxD) 30x13x25in outside dim. using 0.75in thickness, what size port and how many should i use to tune to 34hz using aero ports? i believe the box will be 4.46cubic ft. b4 sub and port displacement. thanks for your time and great work on the DC product i love these subs so far and will love them more after this box. lol -Joseph

whats the dimension of the box and whats the port volume?

im wanting to be tuned to 34 hz would i be better of doing a (my min. dimensions) 4.46cubic feet box with port sticking outta the box or (my max. dimensions) 6.685cubic feet box with port inside the box

heres what i got so far does anything look wrong here?

its a sway bar to prevent body roll (keep the body from swaying during drifting)

ya could you post the pix here im just trying to see what i can do with this and ya im glad the "kouki" lights came with my car when i bout it lol

i need suggestions on whats the best application i can use for my situation here. im wanting the do port design what should the box be tuned to? should i do circle port or square port? and at what hz? this with be my first box build and would just like to do it right

im looking to make an enclosure for my 240sx (s13) hatchback. what i have to work with is: amp - hifonics 2608d (2600rms @1ohm) subs - pair of 12in dc audio lvl4s d1 LV4 12" Mounting Depth 6.75" Mounting Hole Diameter 11" Motor Width 7.75" Weight 32.5lbs VC Diameter 3" Displacement .18³ ft Magnet Weight 28.5lbs Power Handling RMS/Peak 1000/2000 Impedance (Ohm) d1 or d2 Sd 494.00 cm² Vas 66.60 L Cms 1.95e-04 m/N Mms 173.08 g Fs 27.4 Hz Bl 16.15 Re 3.60 ohm Le 4.02 mH Qms 5.13 Qes 0.42 Qts 0.39 Xmax 23.5 mm Sensitivity 87.0 dB Suggested Sealed 1³ ft Suggested Ported 1.5³ ft im wanting to do a ported box and have it tuned low to get the 240sx flexing but do not want to do a wall. i want to be able to remove the box when needed. and to keep the sway bars (X-bars) installed. i was thinking if the port needs to be long i can have to port go in between the bar and the trunk floor. my back seats will be removed and have my batterys and amps there. so the spare battery casing in the back will be moved. and the spare tire compartment, would that just be better to make a false floor and not even try to use that space? heres pix of what im working with

Only reason I asked is cuz u said shipping is $25 each and I took the word each as multiple items lol. Just asking becuz I need a box for my two 12 dc lvl4s and u were local to me.

Box is only for 1 sub huh?

I like his "blow your back out" song

I got pulled over in my 98 s-10 blazer for loud music here in CA.... But.. I had a stock cassette deck with aftermarket speakers. That's it lol The cop said he thought he could here me from cars away with bass.. He searched my car to find amps and subs but didn't find nothing, looking in the trunk, under the back seats, and in all the back compartments lol He said just next time keep it down lol

Amps and batterys as of now still pending but I think it might b another case of Craigslist flake. I'll see how much shipping will be for the battery. Plz post zips And the rf knobs I'm not sure the model number but that do say "punch" on the front
