If you want prices to skyrocket then sure, pretty sure that was one of the reasons that the old m1 level 6's were so expensive, custom tooled baskets weren't too cheap.

I really like the idea of over-sized push terminals, all these companies are coming out with over-sized wire, or atleast they label it as over-sized and no one make the over-sized terminals, kinda aggravating trying to shove two 8 gauge wires into a single 8 gauge terminal!

Well I ordered a hifonics BRZ1700.1 from sonicelectronix about 2 weeks ago, the amp was DOA, instant protect when it's powered up, this is the 3rd time i've recommended a hifonics amp for my friends budget builds and the 3rd time it's been a bad amp, needless to say i'm tired of having issues with hifonics. How would I go about sending the amp in to hifonics or getting my money back from sonic? I would really like to get my money back but I don't think that's an option since the box has been opened?

Stupidest shit I did was wire my 3.5k at .5 on bone stock electrical, saw instant LOW on the stinger volt meter then I resided to 2 ohm, never again will I wire below 1ohm

also an amp can be one of the best amps out there but depending on it's technology won't run below 1 ohm, like new rockfords and some of the kicker amps aren't even stable below 2 ohm.

Id also like to get others opinions on this as I drive a 93 firebird formula and the road noise is terrible and the exhaust heat around my legs gets pretty intense after 30+ min of driving.

When 3500 worth of subs, amps, headunit, etc get stolen and you dont have a job to make money quickly. I take a year break to save up then go at it again.

It is true, in a perfect world with zero voltage drop, and zero impedance rise sure you will get 2250 out of it, probably more

You say your car is hitting 140s and yet you don't know what a termlab is? Typically most people find their cars peak using a sealed box and running a sweep at low volume, then they build their ported box according to their cars peak.

I like everything besides the metal fencing on the basket that prevents us from seeing the coil, I like being able to see the coil moving when subs are inverted also being able to see if the coils cooked or not
but that's just my opinion!!!
