    if been able to sit in this beast 2 times, the 2nd was louder to me than the first, for 12 15"s it isn't all that impressive but then again you can't really expect much from their punch series of woofers, but I did enjoy the demo, and others should get one if you have a chance it's a pretty cool show inside.

    edit: I just realized they changed out to their new line of punch subwoofers so what I said above might be a bit different after I get another demo of it!

    I would like to know how your setup sounds. I am looking at the same subs and pushing them with 2400 watts at 1 ohm load.

    Damn I need a line of credit with DC, promise i will pay you back next Friday.

    ummm we switched out from kicker CVX's to the DC lvl 4's with lvl 5 upgrades, the difference is night and day, even though we kept the amp at 2 ohm (1500rms) for both subs it's louder than the CVX's and it's tuned lower on the gains and the bass boost is off, with the CVX's the gains were at 3/4 with bass boost at 1/4, the previous guy that tuned it didn't know what he was doing. with the DC's we left the amp at a bit less than half, bass boost off, and it hurts inside. the quarter panels flex like crazy when its hot outside, i'll try to get a video up of it this afternoon as i'm in the middle of class right now. they sound much cleaner and louder than the CVX's too, they don't get muddy like the CVX's do at high volume like most people say, which is true imo.

    My modified feature should be there ( if I get done in time ) there is also Southeast Regionals/Florida state finals the 23rd - 25th iirc in Orlando fairgrounds!!

    I can't wait man, gonna get sooo many demos, i'll be at the orlando show also, should be a bit bigger than slamfest imo.

    Bigger as in people attending, custom cars and trucks or just spl entries?

    I was thinking bigger as in spl cars since it's the state finals, show cars i'm not quite sure, we'll have to wait and see I guess.

    Hifonics are better then people give credit for; if I had your electrical, i would run .5 and not worry about it

    x2 anything that's higher than their hfi series is good, sure it's not DC, sundown, stetsom, etc etc but sure as hell are not bad amps, best bang for your buck if you ask me, they've had their fair share of huge amps in the past also.

    so im thinking of ordering a Mechman 270 amp alt soon..

    so i was wondering if i had the 270amp alt, my Kinetik HC1400 2nd bat, and my stock battery under the hood that i could handle .5 ohms daily on my hifonics BRZ.2400 lol ive heard people doing it with good electrical.. would save me some money and time trying to sell it lol

    i've heard of a few people running the old BXI amps at .5 without problems, I should be getting the BRZ2400.1 within the next two weeks and I plan on running it at .5 for shows and 2 daily i'll let you know how it goes.

    Just wondering out of all the bassheads here, who is going to be at slamfest at the gainesville fairgrounds on October 7th-9th, I'm going to be there, not quite sure if my ride is going to be ready by then though, please post if you're going and what car you drive so i'll remember to get a demo! i'm looking forward to seeing my fellow bassheads at this show!
