thats what i was trying to tell the guy.cause thats how i got mine. he was claiming a soundstream 6500 and 2 btl 18's in the bed of his truck and said the fi's were rated at 3500 max and i was like there rated in rms not max lol

yea puncturing the gas tank wouldnt be good lol.now i just gotta find somebody with a kickass drill for the screws.its gonna suck having a wall for a month with only 1 sub that cant be played.will i lose any output by having the port on the top by the roof? thats my only concern thats the only way i can find to fit the port.and im starting to think 30hz is to low for a 17 - 18 cubic foot box for only 2 18's and 250 sq in port?

im thinking about screwing 2x4's to the floor and building off those that away my box has a place to sit on. and shoot some screws through the bottom of the box. and run to 2x4's up from the front and screw it to them to keep it from sliding forwards and backwards,any other ideas will help im starting the 2x4's probably tomorrow
