The verdict is still out on the XD's I havent really decided yet. for the price they seem awesome but this is my first real system using 10's I have never been a huge fan of 10" bass but I couldnt fit anything more in my single cab lol. They definately take the power but I havent poured it to them yet cause I have to install this damn battery when I go buy the 0 guage to do it. More than half volume either shuts off my truck or my amp and I know I will burn it up if I push it on low power. I just got started about two months ago on this one.

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I am a car audio fanatic. I am 34 years old and have been building backyard systems since about 13. I can make a little go a long way but that doesnt mean I'm doin it right and I have signed up for this forum in hope of learning from some of the best from what Ive heard. I will post up some pics asap I need to take some I have 4 american bass xd's in my 2000 chevy silverado extended cab powered by a DB drive Platinum monoblock 2 guage wiring and I have a damn big battery that is supposed to be 5000ca at 12v I believe. The damn thing weighs about 100#'s lol
