Personally chrome would look sweet on your ride! Black and chrome just go awesome. I have to use the same size rim/tire combos for my car but I didn't have half the selection of rims you've got.
These are oz leggera 18's on 225 40 zr 18 inch tires. With those tires they do rub on occasion. My wife hit a pot hole with our 17's and blew out 3 of them, otherwise I'd say go 19's!
Try tirerack for rims here's a set I found for you that are silver and black and with 4 tires you can get them for under a grand but that's w/out shipping and I didn't check how much that would be.

Here are some chrome Enkei 20's on my buddies bonneville. He paid 1600 installed with tires for them from belle tire (obviously you'd go 18's but those rims look great!)

I noticed the duck in the hanes commercial too! I was like wtf is it with ducks? I've been seeing lots of ducks all over the place since I joined this site....I must have "assman induced duck syndrome"

i just got rid of them to my friend and he does n ot even got them hooked up yet i traded him them for 2 12 L7's in a custom built box for a nissan truck ported and i have no use for the stuff b/c they are dual 4 ohm and i need dual 2 ohm b/c i got a kicker zx2500.1 so if anyone is interested in the L7's let me know
The subs are only 1500watts rms and your amp does 1250x1@4ohms. You'll only be underpowering those subs by 250 watts rms. Chances are that amp does closer to 1500rms and you'll be putting the exact power at them you should be. Shoot you were basically only powering one of those strokers with enough power. I'd just hang onto them since you unfortunately probably won't get what you want. Good luck either way...what are you going to go with otherwise?

Why'd you trade those subs for your strokers? I'd rather have had the strokers...kickers aren't as much money...Those strokers are nice!

Yeah it's definitely a laid back good atmosphere! I have yet to find one I'd actually want to work at down here in Texas though. The CC and BB down here in general suck, I don't like them and the people that work at them are pretty big douchebags. I happen to like fry's down here (didn't have these in michigan) but the people that work in there are worthless for the most part.
Oh yeah you get the road shop manager spot man you can make some really really good money. My buddy was saying his roadshop manager gets 1600 dollar bonuses every month if not more money, mainly from putting out a good number of cars with remote starters and what not.

Except when they have open box items! They can hook you up with open box items but I'm not so keen on that unless it's something cheap and small. I couldn't buy a tv open box.
How high up are you? My buddy started I think at 9.50 or 10 bucks an hour and I'm pretty sure he's up at 13 or 14 now. He just moved up to customer service supervisor from tv section. IMO that's a pretty decent salary he was a dollar less before he got the promotion, and now he says he does even less than he did before and he's getting paid more. Said last Friday some wacked out lady came in from Pontiac (pretty poor area of michigan) and was p-ed off because she missed the mail in rebate expiration date and poured pop on like 12 laptops in the store causing 12k in damages! That sucks!
How long you have to wait to get the stuff? My buddy ordered all polk for his bonneville and it only took a few weeks to get the stuff...

I've heard best buy gives better deals on stuff than cc, my buddy works at cc and to get the best deals he's gotta order through certain manufacturers and take bs tests and what not. Unless of course you have a manager that likes you and doesn't mind doing things that could get himself fired that is! One manager he had got taken to jail for discounting stuff! The car audio manager though hooked me up on 6x9 boxes for a customer of mine, charged me like 10 or 12 bucks and I sold for 40 or 50 bucks! Gave me one of the tsunami fuse blocks that were 30 bucks.

How is kicker good for the price? Those zx2500.1 are expensive! Subs are nicely priced though!

That's the crappy part about crunch stuff is it's not rated at what it puts out. The older stuff had rms ratings in the pamphlets but there's no guarantee that it is what it says it is but I thought I'd throw that out there...

If so you should go have it repainted and cleared with some pearl...I bought some sweet pearl from a guy off ebay for my crotch rocket and it turned out great...

Hey I like maxxsonics stuff in general, I've sold a ton of crunch stuff and sold to family to and tend to like the stuff as well. One of my favorites are pzi2250, that thing is a beast and I was getting them for like 50 bucks brand new, I probably sold 12-15 of those last summer...

The 03/04 cobra is a killer car. I've wanted one forever! I don't personally like the new shelby cobras nearly as much. Whatever you do don't get a gt and expect it to compare to a cobra. Too many people have done the gt to cobra change and it's a waste of time and money. It takes too much to be anywhere near comparable to the cobra. Especially with the block and tranny being bulletproof.
For the money get a gto...I'm a ford guy so don't take it personally...But for the money that would be a better car...
Personally at 18 I can't say i'd get a cobra though you'll get into quite a bit of trouble. I test drove a regular 2000 gt when I was 18 and was pretty shocked how quick i got the car to 80 mph when I wasn't trying.
Better yet get this...LINK...I don't quite know how to describe owning a jag is like but it's awesome. You could get that car and crotch rocket for the same price as a used cobra. The car has a supercharger with 390hp and carries much more with it. I'm sure everyone else would feel different about that but trust me the car is awesome. You can get 03's pretty cheap but that link is a 04. Most 04's will have factory warranty with them still.
