i have been into car audio for almost 20 years now. My first real sysytem was in an escort wagon that had 4 jl 12w6's and 1 US amps vlx 400. Back then it was probably in the top 5 loudest cars in my area. I was friends with the other 4 guys. that system moved into two other cars i owned before seeling the system to another friend. since then ive used everything from crossfire to rockford fosgate in many cars. my two current vehicles 1 being my 07 impala ss has 2 old school jl 10w0s powered by an alpine mrp 200. My pride n joy however is my 98 civic coupe with 2 audiopipe txx- apx15's in a slotted box tuned at 39hz powered by an audiopipe ap15001d. this is by far the loudest car i have owned and is probably one of the loudest in my area. i wanna get it on a termlab before i add another amp and battery. Anyone on here who says audiopipe subs are crap needs to come hear my car and a few of the local shops demo vehicles! 1 van is running 6- txx 15's and 3 15001d's the other truck is running 8- txx 12's and 4 15001d's. they are the two loudest vehicles around here.
