i tuned to about 35hz and i thought the sundown was going to be a little louder but overall it sounds good hits the lows pretty good. ill get you some pics in a little whileWhat did you tune to? And what disappoints you about it? Any pics of the install?

well theres no term lab in my area so i couldnt tell you at what it peaks. I just installed everything today i put a sundown sa 12 on a hifonics hfi 1500 and it has a kenwood x396 deck. it sounds good although i expected a little more.

well its kind of hard to get 5 gigs a day each gig is about an hour or two and most are at same time around 8-12lso you have to remember not to many people party during the week you can get 5 gigs on friday through sunday but during the week its going to be hard.

they sell the sand paper with the holes for that one at home depot i dont know if it comes with it but new it comes with a hole puncher to make holes on regular sandpaper

i have one of those sanders and its pretty good it gets the job done. by the way i think you just made this thread to earn money by using ad fly instead of just posting the regular ebay link.

does your amp have a remote gain when i got my bl and i hooked it up i thought it was blown since no sound was coming out i checked my remote gain and it was all the way down

i'm not gonna touch the setting for bass boost on the amp. Is the knob also a bad idea, or is it ok when used minimally?

if the knob is a remote gain its good to use if its bass boost dont even use it.
most companies like hifonics and others use a bass boost knob. which you dont want to use. some companies like audioque use a gain knob, which if turned to max, doesnt exceed the gain setting on the amp itself. its just an attenuator.
the hifonics knob is also a remote gain
