  1. then i guess ill just have at it one day when im free with some tools and see what i come up with haha
  2. that was what i was gonna do more then likely but wanted to get some other peoples help, cauce i dont really understand the tuning and all that
  3. awsome i am just gonna do a little more looking into the idea i want and find what kinda space i have
  4. im looking for a ported box for my single L5, i still need to do some research on the facing of the port and sub for the best sound. and its for a 99 civic si
  5. who would i talk to about getting a sub box designed, or even some ideas
  6. well there is no need to worry i have every thing ran now its just installing a ground and hooking up the speaker wires pretty much, speaking of which this is kinda directed to any one with a civic. where is a good place to ground to
  7. perfect, thanks guy very much. if all goes as planned i should have every thing in my car by next weekend
  8. one other question, since i have never amped my speakers before. should i run the speaker wire along the side with the power wire or with the rca wires?
  9. that rubber grommet was so perfect and keeps it nice and descreet under the battery tray, so i got the power wire ran, now stuck at the rca's dueto the night
  10. thanks, that should work out perfectly for me then, and i was just trying to find out the best way for my sub and port layout cause i was planning on making a new box
  11. heyy every one, i was wondering if any one knew the best place to run my power wires to keep them hidden well and getting through the fire wall. and also what would be the best way to face my sub. i own a 99 civic si and a 12" L5
  12. im pretty sure my deck does have that but i just left it alone because that shit realy confuses me, but ill set it how you said should be good, and thanks for the help to every one
  13. so since im running 4 ohm per channel(so to speak) i should be fine for a while with out them amped
  14. ya they are 4 ohm, and its no problem re wiring them again later. i was just mostly worried about the deck and taking too much power out of that and some thing goin wrong
  15. heyy guys i havent been on in quite a while. any ways quick question, yesterday i bought a set of hertz component speakers for the front and some coaxials for the rear, right now i dont have the cash moneys to buy an amp for them but i should within the next month or two, what i wanna know is if i hook them up will it do any harm to the deck and or speakers in that short of time?
