So update. My first deal fell through but my next deal is ok but tell me what you guy think ? I can get 2 12" Alpine dual 2ohm subs in a custom ported box built for my car with a Alpine Mrp-M1000 amp that i was talking about before for 895.00.

One other question im running a 4 channel Mb quart amp for my Highs and that alpine Amp what kind of kinetic should i get to throw in the back ? Dealing with a stock alt and stock battery under the hood being i just bought the car brand new in dec didnt wanna change too much stuff under the hood for warranty reasons hopefully they wont bother me about the Big 3 think they will ? but anyway thanks much

So how do you guys think it will sound ? Sealed or ported ? Im also using them in a hatch back so should sound pretty good

all brand new kranny only thing im not getting is warranties

they only have that or the PDX and for the money i dont see much of a difference

I guess im gonna go with my original thought and just go and pick up 2 Alpine type R 2ohm dvc 12's and power then with the MRP- M1000 Alpine amp can get it all for 400 so i think its a steal all i have to do is get a box built for them. Whats everyone think am i wasting my money or will i be pleased with the bass and sound out of these speakers ?

yeah looks good nice tahoe im just the guy trying to do things on my own hehe i been having people do my system for my past 2 cars and decided to do it all by myself this time and trying to do it somewhat right. But the problem i think im gonna have with the 2 alpines are that my car has such a small alternator im driving a 2010 hyundai elantra touring sports wagon i love the car big for family and still nice looking to have fun with also hehe. But the alternator is only 85 amps but i wanna have good sound and wanna be loud will the 2 alpine typr r 12's be good on just the 1 Alpine amp that i mentioned or will they starve for more power ?

Ok so i narrowed it down to these 2 because im getting good deals on both of them and it just seem right to go with something i can get that will sound good and not hurt my pockets any ideas on what one of the two i should get Alpines are gonna be the type r 12's dual 2 ohm and the amp will be a Alpine 1000.1 amp or the Orion XTR with a Orion Cobalt AMp 800.1
