I need help finding performance mods for this car. Picked it up out of Florida in mint condition with 30k miles. Perfect interior, had limo tints. Since the purchase I have dark smoked both the front and back lights. All glass is 10%. 20 x 8.5" in the front and 20 x 10" in the back with a 4" inch lip. Turbine looking wheel. Helo HE851. Black lip and machined face. I know they're cheap, but I looked hard and these wheels just fit the car soo nice. Not a name brand dude. Im mad happy with them. In addition to the minor cosmetic changes, I've added Eibach springs. System is coming too. I'll post pictures soon. Car looks pretty decent with the eibachs...

It started at 6-7k. Guess thats not gonna happen...Oh well, I guess if I'm gonna do it, might as well do it right! Any suggestions? I am willing to go into the 10-11k range. Like I previously mentioned, not looking for a true SPL or SQ system. Just some good sounds to enjoy during the weekend. Your feed back will be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. As mentioned, Im not going for anything too exotic. I'm not sure what type of cost's Im getting into with the audison equipment. Based on the 15k comment, I'd assume I'm getting into too much. Why second skin over Dynamat? I really just dont know. What would the RF 3sixty3 offer over the LC6? I want to do this thing right. Just trying to edubacate myself. Thanks man... I Just looked up the bit.one...I have read nothing but very positive reviews. In comparison to the RF 360.2, there is no comparison. Do you feel the articles I read are accurate? If so, I'm sold.

What do you suggest amp wise for this set up? Thanks for the feedback...

Hey folks... Im new to these boards, so dont be too harsh. Ive been out of the game for a while, but have the itch again and am looking for comments and suggestions in regards to the equipment/set-up Ive selected for my car. I'm ready to pull the trigger and would love some feedback. I realize that there are many JL haters out there, but I like what I like and I have always loved the sound of the 13W7. You will not pursuade me to go with a different sub. I'm not trying to blow my car apart, rather incorporate some good deep sounding bass and a bit of knock. Not an spl or sq car, just a decent sounding stereo to play around with on the weekends. 1. Stock head unit hooked up to an Audio Control LC6 2. Total sound deadening. 2 layer trunk and doors. One layer floor and roof. 3. Hertz MLK 165 component set in the front doors 4. Hertz HSK 165 component set in the rear doors 5. JL Audio HD 600/4 powering the two door sets 5. JL Audio 13W7 in a ported box (ported through the ski hole) 6. JL Audio 1000/1 powering the 13W7 7. All top notch wiring and installation 8. Upgraded battery (NEED SUGGESTIONS!!) 9. Cap (Again, NEED SUGGESTIONS!!) Like I said, I not going for a system to blow away everybody. Im simply looking for something that I can enjoy during the summer.
