  1. I'm not trying to hate on the shop that did your install, but it looks a bit sloppy honestly. x2 on what kranny said, that painted sheet-metal ground should really be moved to something solid, and that fuse/wire routing looks pretty awkward. Those subs are rated somewhere around 500rms, and given the amp, they're probably seeing less than 1kw.

    Not trying to rip your system apart, as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters. :good:

  2. I am looking at the Fi Q subwoofer but was wondering if I should go down that route or Ascendant Audio Havoc is a better deal. If anyone has any experience with either one or both please let me know. I am looking at a single 10 or 12 in a cu ft enclosure. I have a TREO RSX 1600 amp that does 310 watts x 1 @ 2 ohm and 600 x 1 @ 1 ohm. I am keeping that amp so was just wondering which would be a better deal out of the two subwoofers.

    Thank you for all your help.

    No idea on the havoc, but I have a loaded Q12 and it sounds awesome overall. I'd put it in the SQL area as it does get plenty loud with enough power, hits lows nice and does well on metal/rock.

  3. Even though it seems to be made aware now, the same size does not mean the same specs. These are not the D/S series, these are the XP series. And it has been stated already the numbers have been used to make it easier to correlate which battery to which setup.

    XP975 = 975 watt setup.

    Sorry didn't read the entire thread before :fool: , I was using that chart just as a quick reference. XP2000 it is, assuming I don't get destroyed on duty and shipping up here.

  4. So the XP950 should be good for a 1600w system eh, will have to get in on this.

    XP3000 good for 3000w rms

    XP2500 good for 2500w rms

    XP2000 good for 2000w rms

    XP950 good for 950w rms

    XP750 good for 750w rms

    So this chart is irrelevent then, yes? http://www.stevemead...-wattage-guide/

    And yes I am aware it is for a different line.
