  1. I've never made a box so I don't really understand much of that. How much of a difference will that make?
  2. No, I meant the box I have now is 2.25 cubic feet. Not the one you sent me haha. Sorry
  3. Alright. Thanks Rick, that box designs looks managable. It'll be my first box though, so we'll see. I'm pumped though. =P
  4. do not put any woofer in a box that you can buy at best buy or one that is premade. they are terribly designed (the ported ones specifically are tuned very high and dont have much port area and are often times small) and the sealed ones are very often too small as well to accommodate 99% of the woofers on the market. custom built and designed boxes are the only way to go. It's fully enclosed with 2.25 or 2.5 cubic feet. I forget the exact number. What would be ideal?
  5. Alright. When I got all the stuff for it I just bought a premade 12" Scosche box also. But they don't sell 15's.
  6. Cool, thanks. How difficult would it be to make a box for that? And any suggestions as to where to mount the amp? Right now it's just kind of sliding around in the back.
  7. Hi. I'm just starting out with car subs and amps and etc. I drive a '90 Jeep Cherokee and I got a cheap 400w amp and a cheap 12" 500w sub from Walmart, the brand is "Dual". My dad was telling me that he knows a guy selling two 12" Volfenhag subs and a 2050w Volfenhag amp for $300 and I'm thinking about doing it. It'd definitely be an upgrade but am I better off to buy new or take him up on the deal?
