Thats squid shit, there are other drivers on the road. Take it to the track or abandoned/closed parking lot. The guys have skill but its not cool to endanger others on the roadways.

I had a problem with the hornaday critical defense rounds not wanting to load properly, they were steady jamming between my slide rail.

I live in lakeland. I can say there are 2 very decent shops, expensive but know their shit shops. I'd say we could kick the shit but i work out of state more than im home and since i dont have any system now that i have a streetbike i dont do alot of installing these days
-
Its squid shit to do burnouts like that anyway. Requires no skill, youre wasting a tire, and being a clown in a resting place for the deceased. I dont wish harm on him for doing it but he should be told to be more respectful and grow the hell up.
He needs to lower that thing or shave the seat, he could barely touch the ground. What a tool

You want a straight up trade? Sundown 1200 and 2 sa 8s for an AQ2200?
-
Dont pay nearly what they cost retail if its not a sure thing. Bid low hope to win and if theyre fake you get a cheap set of speakers for a cheap price if theyre real you get an expensive set for a good deal. No way to know without looking at the crossovers and equipment

Doesnt sound good to me. Rough country has poor quality stuff. I'd look into buying some better shackles and some higher arched leafs

Self built fireworks im pretty sure are illegal and considered unsafe unless youre a professional. Glad everyone was ok but you kinda brought it on yourself

When they radio in, our big tug boats tie up and pull us away from the channel to clear it for any ship traffic. And farther and we'd have ran aground. This ship was 45 feet outside the channel towards us
-
It happens alot actually. Not quite that close, but they just dont really care whos in their path. It takes them about 15-20 mins of full reverse throttle to stop so even in the event of something happening they dont even bother to try to slow down
-
It had everyone a little worried. It actually hit one of our anchor barges and broke a few steel cables. Thankfully no one was hurt, they never even slowed down or radioed to see if everyone was ok, just kept right on moving

So i was working 6 hours over my normal 12 hour shift yesterday and happened to be outside on the back deck of our dredge when i start hearing alarms bells and look up to see this
Our dredge is about 440 feet long, this thing was easily 200 feet longer and as you can see 80 feet higher. If you look on top of the big white wing in the second pic you can see two men looking down. This thing was less than 6 feet from hitting us! These were the only pics i could get before we had to man emergencie stations. Just thought i'd share my close call with you all

Not a very big budget, singer alt, xs d3100s, knu wire, crossfire xs v2 18, AQ 3500 or sundown saz2500. Selenium or eminence alpha closed back 6.5s on a Sundown 100.4

I've lost a good friend at a young age as well, its tough to think of the life that they could've had. You have to celebrate the life he did live and the good times you all had, if you do that then he hasnt gone anywhere. My condolences to the family, and stay strong bro

What Kranny said. All quality amps and modest prices considering. I love my AQs
-
$1000 is a very modest budget, especially when refering to the words "sound quality" SQ builds are very high dollar. Beings as a lot of mid-top end SQ amps run half to 3/4 of that budget. SQ and having a complete system that gets loud and sounds decent are 2 different playing fields.
-
I believe thats how the bazookas worked. They had a hole through the bottom plate that ran up and through to the top plate around the coil. It never sprayed directly on just cooled the motor around it. The amps ran off of radiators built into the casingIf thermal capability was raised, you'd start running in to mechanical limits shortly thereafter. So you might be able to cool that subwoofer, but you feed more power to it and push it harder, something mechanically will fail.
This is what I was going to say. Thanks for saving me the typing lol
Isn't there a Soundstream sub that can take like 10k rms burps even though I believe it's rated much lower? (Just read this on this forum a week ago) Wouldn't that be an example of a sub that would benefit from the cooling because mechanically is seems it can take the 10k rms? Sorry, I'm quite the noob.
There would be a couple basic things to consider regarding mechanical power handling
- There is the excursion limits of the driver, which can be controlled with the enclosure
- Possibly a different set of spiders to better control the mechanical motion
- The is the coil-cone joint
- And there is the spider-coil joint
Edit: Just brain storming out-loud here
How about putting some sort of water proof stretchable cover along the bottom of the spiders, then encasing everything from the spiders to the bottom of the magnet in some sort of closed container
Then have a nonconductive coolant sprayed directly onto the coil above and below the magnetic gap. Hook everything up in a closed loop system so there is no splatter/loss
I used to have one of the bazookas way back when. It was more of a pain in the ass to hook up more than it was useful. All it does is introduce a new series of things to take up space and more potential to have something fail. Anti freeze running into your sub/amps/electrical isnt the best idea

My house is 30 mins east of tampa. My girlfriend told me 2 tornadoes touched down close to the house. Sofar no flood though just ass tons of rain. Glad im out of state lol

This is the one im looking at

Sorry to hear about your loss. Its always tough losing someone close, you and your family are in my thoughts. Another guardian angel to watch over you all now

Lvl 6s are beast and are very underrated but 10k daily, no freakin way

Must have missed my post.
I did, thanks for that. Makes the idea of buying a little easier.

Isn't the ISF Japanese? I don't think it falls in to the category of euro sports cars.
This.
Yes i understand its japanese. But its also a high end import. Not a vehicle you can go to the local pep boys and buy parts for. Im more intrested in the small things such as oil changes and brakes. Is it an easy task or do these things require technicians?
-
I would find a good tech for major repairs. Im asking about things like a brake pads, im sure they dont sell pads at autozone haha. And oil changes, ive changed oil on some pain in the arse vehicles, is it something i'd have to take to a tech or is that something that could be done in my garage by me?
