hey... if im getting 2x "dual 4ohm" subs http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18357 what kind of amp should i use to push them good? i mean like how many ohms stable should the amp be need to match up with the (2) dual 4ohm subs if it was a 2channel amp? and if im looking for a mono amp... how many ohms would match up to the (2) dual 4ohm.
the rms on the subs are 500w-1000w 3000w peak
if you have good ideas of what amps would work good mono or 2channel, please leave posts... (and links if you can)

The largest danger with cold weather regarding drivers is condensation on the voice coil. Enough condensation can provide a sufficient environment for a short circuit and can also damage or destroy the glue holding the voice coil to the former. As Bibby has mentioned, just warm them up gradually. This will provide ample time for the coils to get nice and warm whilst running dry. If you can afford it, use a battery charger to keep the electrical up and constantly play very low levels of noise through the drivers when not using the vehicle. This constant noise will keep the coils warm and will prevent condensation, however I know that it is not always practical in the automotive environment.
Cheers,
Mick
i live in new york, and in winter time, it hasn't really had any effect on my old sub

Well went to USACI finals, and used the equipment I knew would get the job done. KICKER and KINETIK FTMFW!
But its all back up for sale, gonna start from scratch.
ZX1500's $300 each.
Batts $200 each + shipping might work a little on this depending on where its getting shiped to, and how many your buying.
Possible sale of (6) Kicker 06 12" L7's Dual 2's Used for finals, and all work just fine. $175 + shipping. will work deal on pairs or more.
well can i get a group price on 2x kicker L7s(dual 2ohm), a ZX1500.1, and a battery?
