Ya I heard the same about farenheit, wasnt sure. I have clarion speakers in my doors and they are nice so I thought their H/u must be decent. I just want other's opinions who have flip outs, because my current one is a dinky, sony xplod non flip out

What about farenheit, clarion, or power acoustik? I'm not real knowledgeable on H/u's that are good besides Pioneer and alpine, in which I can't afford a pioneer, and havent seen any alpine singledin flip outs.

It only goes down to about 12.4 volts when it drops, but with the stuff im planning to add you dont think I will need a bigger alt with more amps at idle? My alt now does 136 max amps.

I have a 1200 watt stero system, interior leds, halogens, and soon I will have exterior leds, HIDs, and a train horn on my truck. How many amps would I need at idle from an alternator to power all of this? I do have a XS d3400 under the hood, but my stock 136 amp alt isnt enough to power it all without my lights dimming and voltage droping.

Also does any one have any good brands they would recommend? I was looking into mike singer alts.
