Okay so i am wondering because my trucks stock wire mounts on the side of the battery will i be able to run the stock to the side with this and the zero gauge to the top for my alt and other battery?
-
i like them but i still like the orange and black too
-
twist them tight and angle the first one down then slide the second one above it i used 10 on my old sub its was a very tight fit
I felt dumb founded when I read this it makes so much seance it's not even funny we all try to shove both in one sideput one wire threw the front and the other threw the back
my wire is too big for that
I think i am going to stick to bolts but thank you very much for the input.

i am going to wire each with bolts make it easier here is what it will look like at 1 ohm
-
thank you very much sir

Dont. You run all positives on both speakers to on BOLT on your box. Than all negatives to one BOLT. than bolts to amp. Simple. You are making it harder. You only need one wire form each push terminal on the subs. Act like the single positive sign and negative sign in the12volt diagram is the bolt not amp.
it is really simple as that just all to one and all to one and done? i feel dumb

i see what i did wrong i will try again after work lol
-
i am trying to make it so my 10 gauge wire will fit so i dont have to run a bunch of wires into one terminal on the speaker..
-
well here is what i am going for does it look right using bolts and washers?
-
SF Giants colors i like i like!
-
second link in my sig. make your speaker terminals like that so you're not tryin to shove 10lbs of shit into a 5lb bag lol.
i like that i wish i didnt seal my box off but it will work

My buddy ran his too close to the exhaust manifold and only bad things can happen.
All I can say is DAMN that sucks.
Yep, be safe... for sure,.........
I have gotten away with running my P & G right by my e-manifold for some time. The wire i use from alty to bat (both 1/0 power and ground) is from Ce Autos "kit"...and has a mother outter skin on in,,...... and is great for running down the undercarrige of the car.
Then, with my ocd, i added a lil more, and well,.. i like the color..... so,.. what can i say......SPLIT loom as well...
Power lead in blue, ... past the manifold....to the red on the SINGER.... there is a ground as well, that is to mount.....(not sure if you can see that?) that is made with the same skin as the power, and i also tossed on a black split loom ..
looks like i might be going with that thank you everyone for all the feedback

SHould i get one of these or just trim the wire.
-
your trying to run 3 10g wires to each terminal ? if so why?
not in each one only two of them look at the diagram at the top.
-
x2 on trimming down the wire. Probably the easiest route to take.
it wont make a difference in anything?

bananaplugs
now do they make banana plugs that hold more than 2 runs of 10 gauge into it? or can i fit multiple banana plugs into a terminal?
-
here is my final ohm load
-
Ok so i bought some wire the other day thinking it was going to fit and it didn't end up fitting i though 10 gauge was a good size to go with and i got 20 feet of it for my new set up and others, but how do i fit it in the terminal and i might have 3 runs of it going into two terminals how do you do it?
-
well i guess since the alt is a 270 of couse i will need more lol dumb
-
Also be sure to do the big 3, Step that fuse up to a 300 amp since you would be running a 270 alt and the wire shouldn't be over 5ft or so. (Big 3 charge wire).
i was told a 250 would be fine so i need a 300 amp fuse for sure?

I've got dc one 15 bucks shipped
why would he do that when he could buy one brand new for 6

i see i need to get one too lol
