  1. yeah i want to do that, so the box looks like it takes up the whole trunk, but my subs face the trunk,so i want it to look flush while looking at them so it looks nice on the eyes. Should i mount them facing up or what you guys recomend?...i just let the local car place instal and they just put them facing back.
  2. i was thinking about doing a reverse seal type thing. not for sound quality reasons like the orignal one is, but so it makes the trunk look more complete and like i care more about the visuals of the car. you think that would look nice or what? i got a mediocre system, i have 2 12"kenwood (KFCW3011), the amp is 1000w rms kenwood amp (not sure of name)
  3. thanks, i heard about the velcro but always thought that the boxes were to heavy to be "velcro'd" like tennis shoes. is it better to have the box centered in the trunk or is it alright to off set it to one side or does that change sound at all?
  4. i might try that, because as it is now my amp is mounted on the back of the sub box and with this idea i could mount the amp on the floor as well as the cap.
  5. does that actually hold it in place?...my trunk is all plastic and the box's carpet is like a lil kid running through a slip n' slide when i take any corner or slow down or accelerate. all you hear is whooooo, clunk as it hits one of the sides of my trunk
  6. i cant attached anything to the car...its technically not mine, also i want to make it look a bit more clean and done up. right now it just looks like theres a big box sitting behind a 45 degree angled seat...not to attractive.
  7. In my 03 toyota matrix hatchback, my subs are in a audio store regular dual 12 sealed box. the box is not big enough to stop moving around in the trunk of the car, there is like 12 inches on each side but the wheel wells pop up in the trunk and i was wondering if i should build a custom box that fits perfectly back there or just build like 2 wings to fill the space and attach them to the box already so the box is sturdier. ty, and you guys have some sick setups, i always thought mine hit hard but not anymore, mine is garbage compared to you guys.
