  1. ive also heard that they are acutaly quite accurate.. who knows was jsut curious on that is all

According to my TPI440, the AQ clip light is almost spot on....

Now I have a newer 2200d, real new. My older version did vary slightly.

I would trust the clip light. Now are you goin to say my oscope is bad because its not a DD1? LOL

the TPI was the thing TO HAVE here before the DD1.

  2. is fat mat that over rated?

It's a roofing product, not a sound deadener. So if you want it to deaden, you'll have to load the panels with mass. Even then, you can get better results with other products, like ones that are specifically designed to deaden sound and kill vibrations.

Fat mat is NOT PEEL N SEEL :peepwall: You're passing on the wrong information...

  3. I know its impossible to eliminate all rattles :ehh: , but what are the best ways to prevent rattling?!?! other than sound deadening

and how much of a difference does sound deadening make? :peepwall:

    Youve answered your own question.

As long as all your panels are secured, the only real option is sound deadning material.

And how well it works depends on what you go with. But it makes a substantial difference both for road noise, and your audio setup, assuming you are going with a quality product.

  4. This one is also nice, <- I have also bought from this person before.

This one was the best as far as quality goes.

since this only has 2 wires to it what controls it from turning on and off?

The more expensive one I linked senses 12V.

The cheaper on does not. I added a tiny switch for 99 cents from radio shack to it. Now I just turn it on when I want.

I prefer that over having it on all the time personally.

  5. well I was looking for one more or less the same size and shape as the stinger. However, if theres not one, the automotive style will have to do

    There ya go

I have installed atleast 7 of these in customers cars, and I have 2 in my car, and they work fine.

Shipping was faster than I expected, about 6 days total.

This one doesnt need a 12V power source <- I use this one also. NEver had any issues with it.

Doesnt require a 12V seperate line.

  6. Oh it's actually rated on their site at 1500 RMS ? Sry bro I never knew that . Clear thread.

    Goodluck with the sell .

Yes Fi has stated 1500 with the 4" coil. But since the product page I linked doesnt update with the 4" coil option, I just put what Fi states on the page linked.

Anyone who knows the sub, knows it will handle 1500 RMS clean power on the 3" coil let alone this 4" coil.

But I am being technically correct :drinks:
