  1. I had a pair of AQ 15's that got nasty low i could play down to around 14hz and could do a minor hair trick at 18hz on 1500 watts. My bandwidth was outstanding as well. I could play as low as 14hz and into the 40's+ no problem. It's all in the box. I ran the AQ's in a 8 cube box tuned to 35hz with port area of 12 inches per foot.

  2. I got a pair of Massive Audio DC 10's and i was wondering if anyone could help me with a box design. I want a box good for SPL as well as a decent daily box. Preferably Tuned in the lower to mid 30's or higher if i can still play into the 20's. I mainly listen to decaf and big pimpin. Thanx.

  3. Tell me how it goes, bassrace.

I'm gonna ground my hu to a bar in the dash first to see if tht fixes the feedback.

Then if its a no go, ill go straight to a batt.

    Lmk wats up

Is yours doing the same exact thing mine is? I've never heard of alternator whine just comming out of no where, it's someweird stuff.lol

I was thinking the same I will just run a ground to the batt and see if that's a fix. If not I will ground the rca's. It's raining here soo no glassing today, I guess I'll just do the fun stuff, troubleshooting.lol

I just hooked up an amp on my mids and highs and i'm getting the same thing. Does yours get louder as your rpm's get higher?

  4. Turn your subsonic filter down to the minimum and set your low pass crossover to around 50hz and that should do it.

Leave subsonic 2hz below box tuning, if ported. Turning the subsonic all the way down is a good way to bottom out a sub.

I have an ap15001d on 2 aq sdc2.5 15's and i have my subsonic on 0 and low pass on 60hz and it's loud and clear and never have bottomed out and i've played a wide spectrum of frequencies. I'm at 1ohm and tuned with a DD-1.
