slot port from the looks of it.
-
no bracing? good luck...
-
No. This is all about brand. frankly any of the underground type brands that are routinely talked about on here will all work sufficiently well.
look around and find something YOU like. then focus on the install.
-
why can't you do your own research and figure this out for yourself?
questions like these are stupid.

Do you listen to a lot of chopped and screwed music? personally i'd shrink the port area to around 14 per cube, and raise the tuning to 33-35 hz so you can still pick up some of the higher notes.
-
-
I want a shirt too.. still in stock?
-
that depends on your car
-
didn't see the power you were running.. yeah, 14 should be good.
-
I'd shoot for more port.
-
A good customer base and word of mouth has done me well so far.
-
The problem i forsee is trying to calculate the volume of that, and getting the port area and tuning you want after you find the volume
-
physical port length is the length of the port walls. use that number instead. and make your baffle so it takes up the full length and width of the face. like so.
also, you're going to want some crossbracing front to back.
-
It looks like you've got tons of room in that trunk for 12's, but if you can only get 2 cubes like you say, then go tens.
-
no. if you are going for a daily box, max of a 1:3 ratio, tune to 45 hz AT THE LOWEST. you will still be able to hit the low notes better than you think. the port tuning has little effect on how low you can hit.
-
like I said, an 18 would be fine for that.
-
Don't tune so damn low. at 43 hz, you're gonna need some impressive midbass to fill in the massive gap in your frequency response. 43 hz will be your upper cutoff frequency. after that frequency it's going to taper down quick, especially with such a huge ratio.
-
an 18 will be fine for his situation.
-
looks good. and 34 hz is a fine tuning.
-
It's not very loud, and not optimal. most of the energy from the sub goes into flexing the trunk lid rather than in the cabin
-
anything below 2.5 cubes for a 15 is ridiculous. shoot for at leeeast 3 cubes.
-
that's not the trunk. It's gonna be hard to do ported if you're going to go all facing forward
