there's MUCH better stuff out there. look around this forum and see how many people you see using kicker products. You need to be more open minded.
I wouldn't say he needs to be more open minded, I just think he hasn't had as much exposure to non-mainstream brands. Just a little sheltered is all lol, just needs to see some price to power handling comparisons.
Pretty much what i meant.

Okay, let's start by selling all four L7's and avoid trying to cram all that into the trunk.
get a nice pair of 12's that will handle that amp
build a nice box with plenty of port area
-
Maybe if you were smarter about your system instead of trying to cram so much shit into your trunk you could be louder and sound a whole lot better. Honestly, put your system on hold and learn something before you start an electrical fire.
-
This won't turn out well. I can tell already.
-
I can almost guarantee you don't have enough space for all four.

You need to get on some decaf lol the quality difference is night and day.
-
What's the price estimate on these?
-
We're like 30 seconds out of sync here lol
-
Okay, your port area is probably alright then. Add the extra port are if you want.
Good luck with your amp though lol
-
depending on how much power you're running i'd do like 10in^2 more port.
-
BTL's don't need that big of a box. How much power are you running?
Also, the tuning is pretty low as is, no need to tune any lower. more port area slightly higher tuning > less port area slightly lower tuning.
oh and inb4 Joe X lol
-
Just port it. if you want a fourth, build a fourth, if you want a sixth build a sixth.
-
6th orders aren't just for SPL they can actually be very musical. I've got a 6th now and it's got excellent range. fucking love it.
-
Pm me which ones you already have and your mailing address.
I'm lost ?
It's not that difficult
Let me know what brands of car audio lanyards you already have and I will send you some different ones free of charge. I have hundreds of them.
I've got a DC lanyard on the way, I'd pay for shipping if you sent me a couple

Noticed you were from Iowa too. DD's like big boxes for sure. I've never used DD subs though. Hopefully this turns out well for you
-
I didn't read through the OP's post. Yeah, essentially that's a 6th order not a 4th. In order to be a 4th, you would build a sealed chamber to spec, and leave out the passive radiators from the SEALED side. then for the front chamber you'd put the passive radiators in to act like ports.
-
The front chamber would have the ports/passive radiators, the rear chamber would still be sealed.

I don't know what the deal is lately. there's been this obsession with tuning your box below 30 hz. I don't really see that as necessary. I think you'd be surprised at how much you can play below tuning
Wat battery
in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
