  1. guys ,

i made a few comments on there and i said plain and simple i have a 100.4 amp and would be willing to sacrifice the amp if soembody would show me how to blow the amp.

    nobody replied lol.

me personally i already know the dd1 does not blow sundown amps as have set the gains on plenty .

i guess from what i understand is what they think blows the amps i quote:I imagine that a failure caused by using a DD-1 would likely have to be related to a usage issue; possibly the probe touching the amp output and the case at the same time or something to that effect. I haven't seen the failure myself to know for sure,

imo its not even worth trying to defend what they say because it makes no sense . i alraedy replied that the same exact thing would happen if u use a test probe and ground hte positive to the body so is it the smd or the idiot without common sense?

so i shoot my self in the foot and try to blame the bullet ?

  2. Jesus.... is it really that hard to type in WWW.WCCARAUDIO.COM ..... I just dont understand people

nope not that hard but last time i checked that site only sells new .

thanks for the usefull post tho

  3. to all who sent p.m. and helped thanks and for those that were trying to be smart i found exactly what i wanted and am happy so i guess instead of trying to be diffiicult you should keep an open mind .

so starting a wtb thread and being honest on what you are looking for does work :clapping:

  4. why didnt you just say, "does anyone have a dd1 they would be willing to sell? greatly appreciated!"

it would have saved you the trouble... and especially if it was "MINT" then your not gonna get it much cheaper..

and youd have more confidence in just buying a new one.. i did.

meaning i went in on it with a buddy and we split the price so we could both use it.

well i did not think to phrase it that way

im new here and i guess i should been more clear , excuse my ignorance.

bottom line im not here to fight but to buy an smd dd1

Does it really matter how he said it?? Leave him alone damn.... People just on here to buy something and trying to find one used in good condition for a little cheaper price. Its smart thing to do. Your not going to go buy a used smd dd-1 for the same price as a new one so he is looking for someone who may not use theirs any more for a better price. If you aren't trying to sell one why do you have to get on his post writing about how he needs to ask the question.

Maybe he didn't think of it that way. stop post dumpin if you arent selling him one.

thanks for the kind words atleast you understand what i was saying .

  5. i honestly say give him the 48 hrs and then find another use for it... like n8 said a stand for something lol and to the guys saying "well hes already paid for it i wouldnt worry about it" are narrow minded and only looking at this through blinders... the box is now costing the builder space, time, and essential money.. ill damn near guarantee the guy coulda found the time to swing by and get the box and this whole situation coulda been avoided

i never said he should not worry about it i said i would be more worried had the customer not paid . so what i was saying is try to get the customer for storage . i agree with o.p. this is b.s. but its all on how each person wants to handle it .

  6. sounds like alot of b.s. especially for a guy who paid for the box i would be more worried if he had not paid . really with out knowing his the situation i would try and give him more than 48 hrs i think by law if it does not get claimed by 30 days you can do as you wish. just tell him you ran out of space and that he needs to come and pick it up or you will charge for stoarage for x amount of days ? after that the box goes outside and uf it gets weathered or stloen its not ur responsibility . try to atleast give him more than enough time so he cant blame you and also you can try and get some extra monies for your troubles

did you miss the part where he expected a fast turnaround so i busted my ass all day.. that was 8 days ago almost 9 days now..

also i forgot 2 mention 2 days ago..he said "ill be there at 3" so i cleared my entire schedule..and waited for him.. and he stood me up ( i actually called off work to do so also)

no i did not miss that but some guys are just @ holes so i hope you charged more for the fast turn around and if you did not its a learning experience for the next time and remember you have the box paid so if the buyer is smart you can get extra money for your trouble .

really you are asking peoples opinion but at the end its your call .

just remeber you are the seller/builder and he is the buyer/customer so even tho he is an @ss you still have to do things in a bussiness aspect .

i agree with you the buyer is a d-bag but part of anay business is that some times you got to bite the bullet

  9. why does it need to be mint?? are you trying to sell it off as new?

how did you come up with that idea ? does my thread say looking to buy a used smd to sell as new?

maybe mint should be explained .

MINT imo = not beat, damaged or broken, in working condition and cosmeticly good.

  10. im confused you cant get new but cost less than new no one would do that

i never said i could not buy nor afford new. im looking for a used in mint condition meaning not beat up or if somebody bought a new one and never used it or whatever and wants to sell at a slight discount compaired to new . otherwise a new one could be had with warranty is all

i did not mean for somebody to go buy one for me and i pay them less than what they paid lol.
