I just want to make sure my box is right before cutting haha i have a dc 18 lvl5 1ohm i want 5.5 after displacment tuned to 33hz can anyone check my specs to make sure im right? im new to build building so be easy! i havn't added the bracing thats why i left the box at 5.79 Box 20.5H x 35.5W x 24D Port 19.2H x 5W x 30D = 96.00in2 net volume 5.79 tuned to 33hz

Have you seen a cobalt trunk? Most I can fit is a 17inch box which sub does fit hardly lol but it's gotta stick out of my trunk and that classes me as a wall I want to compete out of my trunk no wall etc

Well dc 18 just is not working in a cobalt trunk I can't give it what it needs so here's the deal I need a set of subs That can Handle my lanzar 6000d it's 1ohm stable any recommendation of what to get?

i have a 18 DC in a cobalt ss trunk which is smaller but also i did a lot of cutting and hammering haha working on sealing off this coming weekend and my box is 5.5

so heres the deal my box is 17.5x30x23.5D i was going to do 2 4inch aero ports but decided to go slotted im trying to run at 33hz can anyone help with what side port for 33hz with the box size i gave? your probably wondering how i got a 18 into a box like that well its tripled faced its in a cobalt so yeah trunk is a nightmare even after cutting and hammering.

no im waiting on my lanzar 6000d to ship back they are sending me a brand new one instead of fixing my old one its being shipped today i was going to use that us amp until the big boy was fixed but i didnt im still throwing around ideas for what amp i really want to go with either keeping my lanzar 6000d or going with either the DC 3.5K or the 5K

so at 5.5 port will be 17x6x34D at 33hz?

try 3 6" aeros... 3 6inch for a box thats 5.5? should i go slotted?

does anyone know where the pos is on the alternator on a cobalt? i think its the top but i want to make sure doing the big three -
ill run the sub at 2 ohm's so half ohm just was a option but like i said ill go 2 ohm as long as the amp is pushing enough power which it probably aint so now im gonna have to wait til i get a new amp i want to hear this dc sub! lol

ya i knew i could just dont know if that amp is able to be taken to half ohm. anyway so maybe someone can help me decided on what to get either 2 kicker zx2500's, american bass 400.1 or get this lanzar 6000d returned and buy a new one? again this is a 1ohm sub DVC maybe a DC amp sundown need some ideas please

so i hooked up my lanzar 6000d to find out it smells burning etc. while i work on that with returning it can i run a usa amp MD3D for now at 2ohms? this sub is 1ohm specs of amp 1 x 650W @ 4 ohms 1 x 1200W @ 2 ohms 1 x 2000W @ 1 ohm i hear this amp is also half ohm stable cant a 1ohm sub be wired to half ohm? and does anyone know if its true that this amp can be ran at half ohm?
