  1. it seems pretty simple to set up compared to the older remotes, especially a crestron remote

I am hoping it does what I need, as I am trying to simplify operations of the end user. it will be used in a pretty bad ass install

I really am bound by agreements not to say anything right now, but I will post some pics as general installation photos.

then after the vehicle is delivered I will say for who.

my biggest problem in this whole installation is that the vehicle is silver, I want black, but there is none in the country, and to have one built is going to take 6 months until it arrives. I might do the silver and switch everything in the future, or see if i can get it painted black within 3 days

it will be at the cleveland auto show feb 27-mar7, but I have to deliver it to the customer the 25th

  2. Fiberglass? Get creative....

not in that vehicle... I owned one at one time, did an 8-5-tweet in each door and the back hatch, along with 5-tweet in a kick panel, motorized amp racks, eq rack, cap rack... all phoenix gold... wish I had some pics... it was crazy 3 eq232's a cyclone, 2 zx450's, a reactor amp... circa 1998-9

    oh the days

as adding under your seat the mid... that is the worst sounding setup I heard in real life... most the new BMW's come like that... and it is horrid

  3. manual is better, and it is more expensive. Mercedes did the same, and it is pretty much comparable to the Ferrari.

it is way faster, and works the same way as the manual, minus the $16k for a new clutch.

also the Mercedes has the next gear almost engaged since it is split design... 1-3-5 and 2-4-6 there is no way you'd be faster, and you can still operate in AMG sport mode (like manual with higher shift RPM)

The tranny on the 360 spyder i drove today, like the masserati quattroporte is awesome also, and allows for the know it all weekend racers to not fry their clutch...

another way to look at it is how many F1 vehicles have the manual...???!!! and there is a reason for it also

  4. Go for it, don't worry about if it has done before or not, most people posting are doing what others have done before them.

To date I believe I am the first to do an audio system in a Maybach, confirmed by Maybach themselves... but does that mean everyone after me shouldn't do it because i already did it.

the 66 hearse would be awesome. my first real car that was all mine, was a 67 hearse with the 472, glass bowl fuel filter.... we built a coffin for it to house the alcohol , had a full bar, etc...

does yours have the ambulance glass in the back? I could take off the ~ and it would have a red cross under it on the glass... a red ball flasher on the top...

    I loved that vehicle...

go for it! just make it better

  5. there is nothing worth while in acoustics, sorry to say, it would only be a few people who really care

I really can't see anyone caring enough about an enclosure, I see no usable science in it, it has been pretty much explored to the extent...'

technology is the wave of the future, not an 18" woofer... as a hobby it will be fun... for sure

but science/engineering do something freaking cool... not a look at me i have woofers video and make excuses throughout the video on why it sounds bad, not mounted, and whatever other 20 excuses you made... ;)

  6. what was the point of the video

you made excuses all the way through it...

do something cutting edge or with the times. try showing perpetual motion :)

actually do a solar project or a wind project generating electricity

I actually have a great one but unfortunately patents come to play as I have yet to do it, but I could be rich and shameless and with it you could possibly drive from new york to Cali with 1 gallon of gas, and at speeds of up to 300 mph... seriously

    non nuc either

  7. I know they had them at one time, they mount on a panel and project the light

I don't have a very good picture of them but I will post it anyways.

I seen them before but am brain farting

the picture shows 3 of them, chrome, mounted next to each other

kind of like a windshield wsher nozzle sprayer they have in LED's but less fat, and made to be seen

please help me out on trying to locate some

    Thanks

  8. Also in the defense of some installation techs, sometimes they are never taught how to troubleshoot a system correctly. you have the interface modules which some are data to data(D2D) all that they know is that this box is supposed to go to this vehicle because it says so in a tech document. they know nothing about the system otherwise. what it is, how it works, why it works, what makes it work
