  1. I will build the vehicle to the seat, so no worries on the vehicle.

N8, second row seating isn't going to cut it, as I am looking for a motorized seat

I will look at the lexus.

I really want Maybach recliners, but at $60k a piece plus the control modules and switches... I'd be at $80k each

Thanks... so far I am looking at the 03 Denali seating... I like the Lincoln Navigator but they have no armrests

  2. im a pretty big noob when it comes to the mid range region but i really dont care about my 6 1/2s throwing out bass, ill leave the bass to the two 18s but i get the speakers tomorrow and im pretty pumped to get them

    sub bass is 20-100hz

you really don't want to go higher than the 100hz as it starts becoming directional.... so knowing that.... you have a gap

  3. it will work to an extent, you would really want to have a speaker that dips into the sub bass region 50-70hz. I am sure the powerbass speakers when they say 100hz were referring to a 48db slope x-over too :)

  4. here is some real cool things about this system

besides the basics of am/fm/cd/dvd touchscreen, it has full speed iPod control (doesn't do video though) and has the best Navigation system.

Zagat restaurant guide, search by phone number, also while connected via bluetooth, you can call a destination from the nav system.

it has a speak button for voice control of the nav system, which, you can press to select sources, track up/dn, station etc... I was going to rebuild it to interface with steering wheel controls to activate, but got lazy as it is awesome as it is.

also with the Sirius or xm nav traffic interface you get congestion updates every 5 minutes, shows accidents, speed patterns... and the xm piece does weather updates every 15 minutes, can even select different cities to get real time weather there

if you travel daily on business... just enter your daily plan and it will do the rest for you

also 3d landmarks... which is nice, shows some landmarks in 3d view to help you orientate with the area if unfamiliar

basically the best ever Nav, which is why it retails by itself for $1,700 tomorrow night it goes on ebay

the extra's I had laying around and toss them in there

  5. OK,

PayPal only this is a personal item

    first the details

    Alpine IVA205 multimedia system MANUAL

Alpine NVE-872a DVD NAV LINK with both DVD disks

Alpine KCE-300BT Bluetooth phone module MANUAL and PHONE COMPATIBILITY CHART

KCE-422i High speed iPod cable LINK with a PAC audio 12v to 5v charging adapter for the newer touch/phone/nano as shown in the following photos

    next the problems... :01nocomment8so:

I had to cut the microphone and speak button wires, you will need to solder them back together

white wire to the white wire and the braided line to the braided line...

will need to extend the ground wire on the NAV as it is about 3-4 inches long

I will include a PAC TR7 to bypass the video function however I can not confirm it will work as I did not hook it up. advice here... go buy one off line for $20 and hook it up

I also cut the plug for the navigation "speak button" 3 wires as this has voice recognition. Not sure what wire goes where but I will call tech support Monday and ask them for the colors...

here are some pics of the unit

  6. Only an idiot would do something like that. REAL professionals always use at least 3 cars AND they trade off. Read a Richard Marcinko Rogue Warrior Series sometime. You would think the guy that created SEAL Team 6 (counter terrorism task force) would know what he's talking about.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Marcinko

I have been to 6's headquarters in damneck va... but I have to laugh about the reference to him.

  7. still have it, first person to call with a credit card can have it, unfortunately damon will be out until Monday, so ask for Sam in Saab parts, he can handle it

    440-716-2700 ext 8010 or 5010

and for the guy that whined in the PM that he doesn't want to do a credit card for a $200 item, let me explain that they do phone orders for in upwards of $16k for a single person with no issues... it's not like you are calling po dunk... though a few people I work with here are just droids... :)

  8. I had to hook it up to confirm a freq response curve out of a vehicle to compare to RTA signal for accuracy

    anyways like brand new

I am sure you all know what a 360.2 is so I won't get into the long details of what it does

payment is by means of you sending a certified check / money order, COD, Credit Card over the phone. Ask for Damon in Porsche Parts 440.716.2700 x5010

    SOLD
