    there is like 4 other topics on this... look at the 4-50 under this one in the security center

    start by reading the installation manual, and have a proper knowledge and understanding of vehicle wiring and security interfacing and you should be OK

    Though when something breaks, doesn't work right, please don't blame the gear or car, as you are inexperienced, as you stated above

    I just want to say that there is a lot of misinformation in this post... but shyne was closer to the facts.

    it is a 99 F150, trust me the vehicle is out for 10 years now.

    I will say this, with one key... program the other in Ford's service center parking lot... and have some extra money for when it goes south, you won't have to pay the towing fee! My buddy is a ford mechanic and comments all the time about one key on a used vehicle

    Also, with Viper, you can be anywhere and find a service center/tech for it. there is a 1 800 # on the back

    I could go on forever with this topic, but a few observations... the sub box should be as heavy as hell so as not to resonate or move, it should sound transparent, placed in a corner, and personal taste can dictate that though most people do it up front for when they listen to 2 channel. as in a large room in 2 channel the sub will be localized if placed in the rear, with incorrect levels and crossover.

    but the whole thing is moot if you are using a car audio setup with no ac to dc power supply. and by the time you buy a good one (astron) you might as well buy everything already done to begin with... so it seems like a waste of time even posting... and no, the battery charger to the battery isn't going to cut it either :rolleyes:

    I was going to go there to check it out, since I worked with a lot of nuc weapons when I was in the military... well most of the youngin's here do not have to worry about the Soviet Union, their cold war is the fear of Al Queda and a rogue nuc or a biological weapon... don't know what is worse, the cold war or this... as people back then had to worry about it all the time with drills in school (i remember them)

    I did a few Mercedes SL's with great results, JL audio W3 8" down firing...

    also did a few jeeps back in the day...

    as long as it is loaded off of something you wil get a decent amount of bass... playing it straight into nothing... will give you little...

    sound deadening has nothing to do with the bass being heard a block away

    it is used to stop the rattles or more technically dampen the panels it is attached to...

    I would only buy dynamat, hushmat, or the second skin product... though I really like the hushmat material, anthony sent me some second skin to use... which is not as pliable as the hushmat for organic shapes and curves, but worked great on the inetrior door skins

    the rest of the stuff out there is just junk... and the people using the tar paper crap, well... it is just that stinky crap that will eventually come up

    the problem is : #1. there is not a plug . its hard wired . to where i dont know.

    common sense says to the main part of the head unit but when i

    remove the dash face plate and try the main unit only comes

    foreword about 2 inches. so i cant see/feel to unplug it.

    #2. do i have to remove both main and tape/eq? "gotz1lung"

    in his build only removed the tape/eq part. i pmed him but

    received no response. 1992chevyk1500 found the harness and

    face plate for me(thank you)but am having a hell of a time gettin

    this figured out.

    above the gas pedal the brain is there. I believe it is a single 7 mm holding it up... but it has been a long while

    Lmao...awesome is right.

    It has been renovated and modernized like you would not believe.

    Coblestone walkways,beautiful rooms with AC, dvd player,etc,etc.

    Like I said lots of technology.

    Were you stationed here on the US military base?

    Honestly I can't remember why we were there, it was a few days though... I was in the military, but not stationed there. Hell i didn't know there was a U.S. base there... That would be the best duty station... hell $100 US for 5 rounds with 5 different.... I am going to shut up before I get divorced...

    Still a lot of Colombian Ladies?

    the v1 is a technical feat and deserves recognition, but it is also a noisy bassturd, if a gas station electronic door opens 3 states away it will let you know

    BTW, the V1 he designed two waveguides in a single chassis that do not cancel each other (front/rear detection) and is heavily patented...

    which is his claim to fame, but there are better or equal out there...

    rocky mountain radar is a scam... search google for those words

    V1 is good but goes off at everything

    the 9500 is ok too many features if that is possible

    I only do the stealth hidden ones such as the 9500ci and K40 so i am wayyyyyy out of your price range on suggestions.

    but I might have a few K40 portables, seeing that is what you are looking at anyways for price, coming in very cheap.

    they also come with a 1 year speeding ticket warranty if you get a ticket they pay for it

    how does my cell phone provider allow this to happen as this is the 5th one I got

    and how does the phone company give a phone number out to someone who is scamming you out of money?

    You know we can shut the world down... It will not take much to make our GPS system off line to non military/govt agencies. The govy can start recouping some money off the leeches

    BTW, I would buy American made products if they were made in the USA, and I do, but to assemble china made products and say they are made in the USA like most of our audio equipment is BS

    And as for vehicles, the domestic line of vehicles here are pretty crappy compared to what i see on a daily basis

    The USA needs it's balls back... too bad Ronny RayGun is deceased... he had some balls...
