    I don't fully understand the differences between silk dome and aluminum dome tweeters. I'm not really in the position to throw away money testing both of them, so I want to make the right decision the first time. Can someone help me out?

    well i guess i'm not a real bass head, i think there is no damn reason whatsoever to have 4 15's or even 2. 1 10 is enough for me, it gets the job done. could putting damp pro on the roof help?

    lol heres the thing its a 10 inch alpine type r at 2 ohms on an alpine mrp-m500. 1.4 cubes tuned to 35 hz

    im not going to take my rearview mirror off thats not an option, but i know its the rearview mirror bcuz when it rattles i hold the mirror and it stops then i let go and it starts again

    Alpine MRP-M500, Let's not get into an argument about setting gains but i dont have an o scope, so i have just been turning the knob to the "NOM" point, it's pretty much a halfway point.

    i just hooked my system up today and everythings fresh out of the box. Since its only the first day using it, i was wondering after it "breaks in" will it hit lower notes better?

    also it depends on how much power your running to them, 400 and 600 would make a big difference.

    I plan on getting getting another one, but its gonna be quite a while bcuz i want to get my mids and highs, amp, and maybe touchscreen deck first.

    Oh, i'm gonna take plenty of time breaking it in, do u guys know any decent amps for that price, nothing special just temporary for a couple months?

    yea i want to do everything my self this time, i just need to get a temporary amp for like 80 to 100, that puts out 600-700 watts and 2 ohms until i can get the aq1200

    I'm going to start my enclosure for my 10" type r. For a 1.25 cubic ft box, what all would i need, other than tools? 3/4" mdf particle board glue (i hear titebond is the way to go?) caulk terminals carpet Is there anything that i'm missing?

    well with the AQ there is a clip light right? so would it be absolutely necessary to use an o scope?

    can a 10" type r (600 watts rms) handle the 2 ohm power of an aq1200 (870 rms)?
