  1. I've asked this question before and never got a clear enough answer. If i wire my rockford T1652 components normal, positive and negative, what would the ohm load be, 2 or 4?

This should haelp, not just for subwoofers but for all speakers.

    Ohm Load explained

It is right on the spec sheet

    Nominal Impedance 4-Ohms

I understand wiring speakers directly to the amp, but when i wire speakers into the crossovers, and then the crossover into the amp, is it 2 or 4? thats where i get confused

  2. From everything that I've heard, AudioTechnix stuff is some good stuff. So if I wasn't repping Second Skin I'd probably be repping AudioTechnix.

As for Zillamat... I probably would avoid it. Why? They don't provide specs on a lot of the key factors to what makes a good CLD mat. How thick is the foil? And it doesn't say if it's 100% butyl mat I'd be suspect as to what they use in their adhesive. With a lower heat rating (270°), I'm thinking it has a lot of filler in the adhesive.

With that said, I would stick with products that are listed and known to be 100% butyl adhesive with a nice and strong foil.

Not to put down your company, I just can't afford it, but I should go with AudioTechnix? It seems to be the best out there other than Second Skin

  3. audiotechnix is def. worth it. ive used both audiotechnix and ss damplifier. they both do the job and stop rattles as they are meant to but when it comes down to it audiotechnix is a better value. its applied the same as other deadeners where u just roll it on. I just pressed it on with my hand and the audiotechnix sticks great. you wont be disappointed by this product at all.

This is what I like to hear, finally somethin valuable that is in my budget. Theres probably not going to be very many rattles anyway with 1 SA-8.
