the lorenzo's hands down
-
alright thanks guys, ill probably be askin more questions about wiring in the future
-
here's the thing, you really can't with what you have.
Then what would i need to make it work?
-
well heres the thing, i don't know shit about wiring, and i just want to get the 2 ohm power from the amp
-
-
a woofer and a tweeter is a component set, they will always be on one channel unless you go with a active crossover and use a seperate amp to separate them. Now to wire up 2 6x9s is possible for a 2 ohm load.. just wire them pos to pos to the amp then neg to neg then to the amp and you'll simply have a 2 ohm load.
Well i can wire the T1652 comps into a 2 ohm load and how?
-
Just realized i sounded like a jackass in my post and made no sense. There will be 2 6x9s and a pair of components. But i want to put a woofer and tweeter into one channel as a 2 ohm load. is it possible?
-
Getting a Rockford t400-4. Also I am getting the rockford t1652 components and the t1 6x9s. I want to give the 6x9s each their own channel. Then a set of components each into the other channels. How can i wire 1 set to equal a 2 ohm load into 1 channel for the amp?

well can you guys give me tips and suggestions to achieve a SQ system
-
You wont get SQ with what you have listed. Do you just want a CnL (Clean aNd Loud) system?
Why not? Rockford has nice components.
I still think he needs an amp behind them though.
SQ- as in having proper time alignment, no major peaks, stellar crossovers, etc?
A "SQ" system and a system that just sounds good are 2 completely different things.
What do you mean proper time alignment, no major peaks and stellar crossovers?
-
Because I'm shooting for good sound quality, but wasn't sure if i should switch some things out or not, because i've never tried any of the gear that i have picked out, so i'm mainly going on reviews.
-
well i already have a factory 6.5 spot and tweeter spot in my door, so i figured i might as well replace them, and possibly amp them later, but i'm not sure. There $170 for those comps
-
I'm currently designing my system while I save up my money, so far all i have is my HU.
Rockford TI 6.5 comps
Rockford T1 3 way 6x9'
Sundown SA-12 (most likely sealed, possibly ported, i'll probably try both)
Rockford T500-bdCP
Not sure if a mids/highs amp is necessary
Any comments or suggestions before I start blowing money?
-
My bad guys, did my math wrong, just looked like a huge jackass
-
lol ya, get some fatmat and pay more for the stuff home depot sells.
second skin is cheaper than dynamat and its a better product.
Where are you getting your second skin? On the website second skin is about 3 times the price

The only pioneer you should ever buy is a head unit

How long do XS Power batteries last on average? Because if i am going to drop that much money on a battery I would like to know. Battery life as it being the main battery in my car running a rockford t1000 with it also
-
well its recommended to use 4 gauge, so would i be fine running that and just upgrade the big 3?
-
I'm just concerned about killing my electrical, bcuz i'm going to run a mids/highs amp too. I don't have the money to drop on a battery or alternator
-
Will I be okay running 8 gauge wire into a rockford t1000bd?
-
well i'm going to be running 2 12's (500 watts a piece). From that aspect is it necessary to get damp pro?
-
What would the difference be between putting down a layer of Damplifier and Damplifier Pro throughout my entire trunk
-
Its best to measure it. What car?
2000 toyota solara 65 wide 43 deep 22 tall
