j/w if someone out there use's this amp , or what people think of it. out with a planet audio AP1500D and in with the precision power 2000.1 sedona. i run 2 RE audio RSX 1st gen's 12s that are dvc 2's so so i want to pick up the 550W RMS more out of this PPI then the planet audio @ 2ohm.

my stuff is nothing special , i have the RE set up in this a 96 ford explorer xlt 800cca battery(new) stock 130amp alt , 4 ga comp wire , i have 2 amps that i go back and forth , powerbass asa. 2000.1 that is 120 amps so like 1200 w RMS or so @ 1ohm also have the planet audio AP 1500d thats 90amps so ya 1000 w RMS @ 1ohm but i run both them at .5 with this setup. i have a new kinetik 1400 to put under the hood and new 1/0 ga wire but im not going to put that stuff in intell i get a new alt. 270alt or something like that. i also have 4 -15'' subs that im not useing at this time... that i put in from time to time just to play lol . think im going to rip the top off the 4 -15 box and put in the 2 -12'' RE and buy 2 -15'' RE to also put in it. after i put all the other stuff in ...

no amp does not get hot at all, it was just a wire in the box from the sub to the termanial on the box . after i fixed that it has not cut out at all. what kind power u runin to yours? my amp is puting 550 RMS to each sub. and i dont think the plastic cover over the magnets is ugly, and they help to cool the sub. i like the magnets with no cover to but i dont care because they are in the box so its whatever. also do u know the rms and peak watts on the subs? i fell like im at the peak of them for what im runing.

this is what my subs look like.

i have looked there is nothing to tell what they are... they look just like all the newer RE audio subs from the back. they have the RE stamped in the basket and have the cover of the motor to cool it and the RE on the back just like all the new ones. but when i look on the RE audio web site the RSX is only dvc 4 ohm and does not have a motor cover also my subs are dvc 2 ohm , and its stupid cuz when i look like on Ebay they sale RSX with dvc 2ohm, and with motor cover but like i said on the site they say they are only dvc4 so idk. i can not even find pic of old RS line of sub to see if they are built the same. i dont want to pull the subs out just to take some pics i will put a pic of what they look like from other stuff online that look the same.

ya i have sold that hc 600 and put a 1400 under the hood

they just say SR on the cone small and they are good subs even if they are just sr's they are hiting at 145.3 i am runing them at .5 ohm but thats not why my amp was cuting in and out 1 of the wires inside the box was jacked up. my amp runs good at .5 does not even get hot at all also have a planet audio ap 1500d i use on the subs at .5 and never have a problem with that amp to so its all good. i will try to post pis of the subs.... from what i was told the older RE audio stuff " SR" were a better sub then the new stuff."srx"

so i have 2 12'' RE audio subs and not sure if they are just SR or SRX i can not find info on a RE audio SR sub.... only SRX and when i look on RE audio web site it shows that the SRX are only DVC4 , got them from a guy online he said they are DVC 2ohm but he was not sure what they were 1st he told me they were RS then he told me they were RF and then RE so when i got them they have SR on the sub! they look like the SEX subs on the website and not the SRX so i dont know if there was a SR then later a SRX sub. also told me he was runin them @ 1ohm and later he said @ 2ohm lol so i need some help in finding out what they are and if they are DVC2 or DVC4 and the watts on them. i have them on a powerbass ASA.2000.1 i have to look and see if they a ran in series for 2ohm. i think they are runin parallel at 1/2 ohm cuz the amp cuts out sometimes for just a sec at a time so i need to look. so hlp would be good if someone knows the re subs thanks .

i have 80 amp after the front batt like 10 '' from it then a 80 amp b4 the kinetik like 10'' from that 1. when i see people put a power cap in they dont fuse that and the power from that goes to the amp. why is that?

the amp is 90 amps so fuse at 10 more amps then what the inline i put in, can the amp pull more then 90 amps?

do i have to run a fuse from my batt to the amp?

ya for sure its not doing good lol! i also have a POWERBASS ASA 1000.1 on 4 15'' audiobahns that i run from time to time. going to upgrade to 0 GA and do the big 3 but for now this is what i got.

hi, i just put in my 1st kinetik power cell to day, and i am havein some problems. i will do a run down of what i got and what i did when i put it in. and my problem. 96 ford explorer xlt pioneer DEH head unit 2- pioneer 6x9 impp 2-pioneer 5x7 impp 4-ppi 2.5 JBL stock amp 2 12'' RE AUDIO SRX PLANET AUDIO AP 1500D KINETIK 600 HC 4 ga comp CADENCE AUDIO WIRE KIT stock 130 amp alt new batt in front but just a big cheap guy from advance auto parts. so i have DB LINK 80 amp fuse/holders from my batt in front, then b4 the kinetik i have a 80amp fuse then i put a 80 amp from the kinetik to my amp. both batts and amp all have there own grounds. so my problem is after like 2 mins of test time with the kinetik my fuse from the kinetik to my amp took a shit. im not sure why, i was thinking i need to move up in fuse size to a 100 amp, my amp is 90 amps but never blew a 80 amps fuse when runing on the batt in front. some help would be nice!!
