I put B stock Damp Pro on my roof (2 layers) and rear hatch. I have about 6 sheets left over for my front door panels and rear quarter panels of my Tahoe. The difference in the knock test was crazy. Can't wait to see what typ of difference there is when I get it playing.

I think this is a top 2 bailout that I've seen, along with the black dude wearing the head protection that jumped the fuck out and ran a mile. She almost made it look like you got rearended, lmfao. Classic shit Nick!!!

I'll be honest, I'm really not a big fan of these woe is me my heart has a booboo threads, but here are my thoughts.
If you were truly in the wrong, and realize it now, no more advice is needed. I would assume a wake up call like that would only magnify the issues needing address and now you have time, space, and motivation to make those changes. I've always been a firm believer that once the pain has lost its edge, so does the resolve to change it. Right now you're wanting to change to get her back...and once she is back your resolve to change what drove her off in the first place will dissipate and you are back to square 1. Change for you, change and become a better person because that is who YOU want to be. If it is genuine, she will see it. And actions have ALWAYS spoken louder than words. Nothing you say will change her mind, she needs to see the change and know that it has permanence.
Also, if you truly loved her, truly did her wrong, and truly feel regrettable...then let her be. She may have the chance to find peace, or even her true happiness. But if its been a week, I almost want to say you haven't given it enough time or space. It is possible to overshine or drown a plant, its all about knowing balance, proper proportion, and need. Love is like a handful of sand. Yes, held too loosely it is gone with the wind. But clenched tightly it still finds its way lost on the wind. I hope you take the time needed to reflect on who you are as a person and as a man, and come to like the person you see in the mirror.
I believe we are all exactly where we want to be. If you don't want to be a selfish ass, then don't be a selfish ass. If you want to be confident, no longer clingy, and with her again...then be it. Best of luck, and hope in some way you find inner peace.
This might be some of the best advice I've ever heard. I'm also having issues with my wife of just under 10 years. I copied this down for when I need a reminder. Thanks.

You headed up to the Alexandria Bay show this Sat? I grew up in Syracuse and am heading up from DE. I have an 04 Grand Prix, which is basically the same body style as yours. It'd be cool to check out how you got it.

Galen, the vids don't even come close to doing it justice. I wished you had entered it, cause I would've loved to see what it metered at. Straight nasty bro!!

I'm trying to figure out how the port length is calculated when it is a center one that needs to bend. Do both sides of the bend get figured into the inches or just one? I'm assuming its both, but I don't really know. And I'm sure that I'm butchering what I'm really trying to say. Hope someone knows what I'm getting at.

I've had this installed for about 3 weeks now and love it. I bought it off Amazon.com for $510, and bought the parking brake bypass from there as well. It was $20, and was really simple to install. Get the 201S cable to go with it. Great headunit.
Good to hear! How's the quality of the 201S cable? I read online that it's a very stiff cable. How's the length on it as well? Is that cable necessary for the App features?
Lol, that cable is stiff as hell, but is required for the advanced app mode. The length on it is probably around 4'. I'll make a vid tomorrow and post it up on my build log.

I got my B stock Damp Pro in the other week, but haven't had any time to install it yet. Opened it up and was pleased with how it looked. Can't wait to get it in.

I put it in my calendar.

It's a shame that he did that....but happening on the same day as the bountygate player suspensions, only reinforces Goodell's stance on player safety.

I would need to order the material for the Orange so i would need to find out for ya
Dang bro!! WTF!! I asked about the orange way back in november and get nothing. Giant4lyfe asks and you're on it.
I guess I got it like that??
-
When do you think you'll have the orange up on the website?
-
EXACTLY like that. Gonna need to order up recones with matching carbon fiber cones and caps. ETA?
You get this man what he wants. Those caps in his car would be other worldly.
They will look sick, but now I will have to modify the plans for the 4th order to show 'em off.
hmm I will see If I can get something to match this a little closer
Truthfully, I think this color is right on the money.

I'm doing it through the amp with the gains off. My bass level on the deck is at 0, but where I can set my LPF on the deck also allows me a range from -15 to +6. I know on one of the head unit threads it was suggested that with some kenwood decks in order to achieve their max output voltage had to have that maxed out. So I was wondering if that should be maxed to 6 to get my max of 4v from the deck, then set the gains.
set it with bass flat. Are you testing from the decks RCA out's or are you testing through the amp with gain all the way down? try that if not. Leave the bass flat though until you are done. You shouldn't ever need to go to +6.Ok, that makes sense to me now as to why it took so long to pick up the 40hz tone. Makes me believe it should be at +6 then.wherever zero is is where i would set it at. When you are all set you can turn it up to wehre you want it. We have found that when people have their gains (and overlaps) set correctly, and 99.999% for the first time in their life, you don't end up turning the bass/treble up as high on deck and EQ as you used to to get the same effect. When people boost their bass or even the treble way up to +6, that usually means the overlaps are not set right and they are compensating for that.
Thanks Steve. I actually set it at 0 when I did it, just wondered if I was getting the full 4 volts from the output at 0.

Hey Matt
Just wanted to thank you for the time that you spent out at my Tahoe on Friday night trying to get the alts hooked up and running. As someone who has really only been heaving into this over the past few years, and hasn't purchased an alt from Mechman, I couldn't believe how much time he took out of his Friday night helping us out. In the future I will definitely be looking at Mechman alts for my builds based on the help he offered up even when they weren't his that I am running.
