    Is your girlfriends mom easy to get along with at work or does she seem controlling like your girlfriend. If she is easy to get along with I would let her know what her daughter is telling you about you getting fired, once you get that part resolved then you can put your foot down.

    She is moody and immature just like her daughter. Always "borrows" her daughters money and never pays it back. Just takes advantage of her. But here is the kicker.

    She knows how her daughter is, BUT, she is almost identical. +my gf tells me "this is why she doesn't want you to be under her" because "if we don't work out" she will listen to me and get you fired and she sees us fight a lot so she might think we won't be together forever.......

    Reading that u just posted. Get out man!! That shit could be "for the rest of your life". People don't change..

    Mind you she will complain about how her mom shits on her all day long. But once her mom needs something she is superrrrr nice to her and then if I disagree or call her mom out to her. I am a dumbass asshole because I just call it like I see it.

    Oh yea and her mom borrowed my car" my gf that doesn't bitch" and curbed a rim...........

    I asked her about it and she lied straight to my face.......................... =@

    Haha no shit, one of my 20's got curbed cause of my ex aswell. You are in a shitty situation, just kick her to the curb man. I put up with the same BS. My prob was the good crazy sex. That crap sucked me right in an brainwashed my ass HAHAHA.

    I would be lying if I told you that was why I am still around. Because it is worse than once every 2 weeks. We can't even sleep in the same bed because "her mom would think it is weird". So the times we can are very few and far between.

    Man I am like typing out how fail this situation is in every way :( I hate loving her as much as I do because it could be making a easy decision a LOT harder.

    Usually harder decisions have a better outcome. There is plenty of tail to be scoped on. Plus you only live once. Enjoy it. If she bitches, put the hammer down. It will conclude real fast to whats going to really happen. You can only handle so much of that crap.

    Well I don't have a access to an o-scope. I'd love to set it with that. I checked my gain and its inbetween 1/8 - 1/4 of a turn from the min setting. I turned it down more and its barely moving the sub.

    Something not right here. Is it the box? I changed nothing but the box.

    What I don't get is my gain was at 1/2 in the other box and the sub never got hot. It was fine.

    Like to hear some feedback if possible.

    I am 24 with 4 years of IT experience and about 1/2 done with my A.A degree. I also worked at Circuit City as the Tech Supervisor for a year before we went under.<<< That is a little about me.

    I live with my girlfriend of 2 years and 3 months, her sister, and their mom.

    I have lived on my own before and I loved it, but after some problems with my gfs trust issues and insecurities I decided to move in with her thinking she would get better.

    Here is my situation, I am a very people oriented person, I have a lot of friends and in turn am very friendly. My gf doesn't allow me to talk to girls I dated in the 7th grade and pretty much every girl I can think of actually. My High School class of 06 is going on a cruise in a few days and I got invited to go, would be sick right? 50 of my best friends from school and my GF. Well I wasn't allowed to go and when I told her I wanted to anyways she threatened my job, my place to live, and our relationship. Mind you she would be coming with me on this cruise lol. I work at a Urology Office doing IT currently and I love it, BUT I work for her mom who is the IT Manager.

    So basically that is just ONE instance of being threatened with no place to live "dad recently moved to North Carolina". She they are all the family I have.

    I don't know what to do about her or my current situation, I hate the feeling of walking on eggshells and being threatened day in and day out.

    I might edit this post later with more instances of how she treats me like shit, but I do love the girl(70% of the time) and I don't want to feel like I wasted 2 years of my life if I just left her. I am not getting any younger ;)

    Thanks for reading hopefully someone is in a similar situation that could shine some light.

    Shit man, I was in the same situation back in august last year (minus the work part). I dated a chick for 3years thought I was happy.. We lived in a apt together and she was a control freak. I spent all my money on her. I finally bought some rims for myself and a new RF amp. A week later I went out to chicago for dealer training and I came back to my apt. Half my shit was gone with a note. I was about to get a ring for this broad.

    I was just like you felt threatend at times, treated like crap but I didn't even know it. I was happy and loved her, but there is greener grass on the other side.

    A few months pass and I wind up dating a girl I used to work with. All I have to say is there is better out there. She takes care of herself, has the same intrests as me, gives me space, ect. I am tons happier and supported with what I do and I don't have to bend over backwards. If your trying to make it work its not worth it. period. i tried my ass off, but got f'ed over in the end. On top of that lost about 6 grand.. I wasn't even MARRIED AHH!!

    Anyways goodluck with it! You'll figure it out as I did.

    Alright so I posted sometime a few weeks ago about a new box to build. (Used torres box builder) I ended up doing 3.25cuft @ 35hz. Manufacture box size spec. Got my box all together and get to tune it. Shit gets real loud but the sub its getting hot to the touch and I can smell coil burning again. I did the 50hz gain setting tutorial w/dmm and still getting the problem.

    Earlier in the week I had 3.8cuft @ 29hz and it was too low for me, but I had no coil issues.. only thing is the sub was bottoming at full tilt.

    Am I tuning this wrong?? Should I do it by the ear with all doors closed? Or how I normally drive the car (windows down, ect.)

    I also checked all my connections after tuning. Everything is good.

    I'm going to call DC later on and see what they have to say too.

    35hz is perfect for music. my box is at 29hz and i hate it. i'd stay at 35hz. you'll be more happier. 4 cubes at 35hz.

    That's what I've heard. 34 - 35 Hz is the sweet spot.

    OOPS I didn't realize you were running 12's!! Id go 3.25 net @ 34hz.. with 16-20in port area per ft. What power are you running to them?

    EDIT: NM saw the power.. yeah do 3.25cuft, or on the safe side 3.0cuft.

    when you tune so low like that the "upper" low bass really suffers and music hardly every goes below like 37 or so unless you are riding around listening to 15hz test tones IMO it is pointless to tune below 32-33 and that is even pretty low if i ever build another simple ported box i wont go below 35

    So how about I build on 3.5cuft tuned to 35hz with about 16in of port??

    Tune to about 35 with 20"of port then if you want to tune it lower you can plug the port up to lower tunning and still ave a decent amount of port

    This might help a lil bit... here's the sub in action, cam has crappy sound pickup. as u can see i've been playing with the box (baffle) its all slowed music.
