Well I don't have a access to an o-scope. I'd love to set it with that. I checked my gain and its inbetween 1/8 - 1/4 of a turn from the min setting. I turned it down more and its barely moving the sub. Something not right here. Is it the box? I changed nothing but the box. What I don't get is my gain was at 1/2 in the other box and the sub never got hot. It was fine.

Well on that note what should I set gain with. DMM or ear? If I do it by ear what tone should I use. BTW. In the bigger box I had.. It never got hot and the gain was set higher than it is now. About 1/8 of a turn. Is 80hz too high for the amp xover?

Shit man, I was in the same situation back in august last year (minus the work part). I dated a chick for 3years thought I was happy.. We lived in a apt together and she was a control freak. I spent all my money on her. I finally bought some rims for myself and a new RF amp. A week later I went out to chicago for dealer training and I came back to my apt. Half my shit was gone with a note. I was about to get a ring for this broad. I was just like you felt threatend at times, treated like crap but I didn't even know it. I was happy and loved her, but there is greener grass on the other side. A few months pass and I wind up dating a girl I used to work with. All I have to say is there is better out there. She takes care of herself, has the same intrests as me, gives me space, ect. I am tons happier and supported with what I do and I don't have to bend over backwards. If your trying to make it work its not worth it. period. i tried my ass off, but got f'ed over in the end. On top of that lost about 6 grand.. I wasn't even MARRIED AHH!! Anyways goodluck with it!
