  1. adding mass will lower thhe resonant frequency of the panel.. thats what all the membrane mats do, add mass. so in effect its quite similiar no?

  4. it wouldnt do anything for souund? i cant find peal in seal in canada. i found equivalent stuff at rona, but i dont want it pealing off during the hot summer, or smelling up the car. i put it in the trunk because i will be sealing it off mostly
  5. would i be able to use wood on the inside of the door to make a frame as sound deadening?it would make the door more rigid, and in turn also deaden it? this may be a stupid question but id rather not invest a ton into dynamat or hush mat or anything. wood costs about 5$ for an 8' piece, i could make a door frame for that much.
  6. The baking soda neutralizes and cleans the mess made by the battery acid
  7. You should be running the OFC to he back
  8. i just ordered 2 50' spools of KCA and they just came today. they are rated to 250 amps. so it really depends on home many runs you put to your rear bank.
  9. oh baby imma ask it. im gonna ask it. where do you find what type of battery it is? i looked on the label and the only thing that caught my eye was sulphuric acid on both.
  10. i was reading around the internet and came upon some people saying that using different batteries will lessen the overall life of all the batteries. i also read that this will also occur if your starting battery and secondaries are different. i was going to run 2 different RV batteries i had laying around until i could get something better.
  11. ya it has fuel injectors. i thought that may also be a problem so i put injector cleaner into the gas tank with a full tank of gas. and sprayed some carb cleaner directly into the injector. that being said it could still be the injectors.
  12. ever since i acquired my 1992 plymouth sundance it has spit out black carbon and it stains the ground if it stays there long enough. i did all the maintainence, new cap and rotor new plugs and wires, dropped the oil, new air filter, replaced valve cover gasket. the spark plugs on the 2 left side cylinders of the inline 4 were black and carbon marked. i took the plugs out a month later to inspect and found they were alot cleaner, however carbon was still slipping out the exhaust. What could be causing this to happen?
