Yah as soon as it started smelling it i turned it way down My level input is set to the preamp volt on my head unit and my bass boost is around 65-70% and the bass did not sound distorted in any way so im just gussing that it was probly clipping a little. and yes i know i need to o scope it to make shure. Just wanted to say today was the first day i smelled the coil of my AQ sdc2.5 15". I was pushing it firther than i have before (with a little clip)then came the smell. so if anyone else ever had AudioQue SDC 2.5s before. can you tell me how hard you pushed them. and if you killed them. how?

I have a term lab, but I am in palm bay. about an hour and a half away from orlando. what do you hit off those 2 level 4s?? well right now they are in a box for four of them. im getting 144.1 at 29hz. im shooting for 150 with all four. Nice. Good Stuff.

Hear is my current system in my 1999 VW Jetta right now i have a jvc Head unit my amp is a SoundStream DTR1.400 running at 2 ohm at 900 rms A Audioque SDC2.5 15" A 4^3 Box i build by myself tuned to 35 hz and for the amp im running 4 gauge wire and right now im working on gitting the BIG 3 right now i only upgraded the Alt Pos to Batt Pos. but onice i get more money i will do the grounds. hear are some videos: i will have pics up soon... Can some one help me uploade pics? i have them on my computer i just dont know how to post them to the forum.

alright well it will still be a little while till i go bigger. im going to finish the big 3 and ground my amp with 0 guage soon (gitting some wire from a friend) and that will help. then it will come time to jump one way ore the other. my only consern with the AQ is that 1400 rms wont be anuff power to move it alot.... idk

Hey guys i need your help. Which sub would be better for me? I have a soundstream DTR1.400 amp that dose 1400 rms at 1 ohm i also have a 4^3 box tuned to 35 Hz So with that info which sub do you think will peform better and over all louder???

That kenwood amp is good for the money but the alpine would be better. but if you can a AQ1200D would do work on that type R
